Tl;dr Mega Meme Bonanza

THE TL;DR MEGA MEME BONANZA

Comment with a list of your characters, receive questions, or just tl;dr on your own unprompted! Here's some suggestions.

◘ What does your character think of mine?
◘ What goes on during our handwaved CR? How much handwaved CR do we have?
◘ Canon information, for those unfamiliar with your canon.
◘ All sorts of headcanon questions-- sleeping positions, childhoods, past sexual or romantic history, etc.
◘ Would your character date mine?
◘ If they were put under a truth spell, what would come out?
◘ Where do you want to go with your character, story arc wise?
◘ Give an example of their daily routine in Keeliai.
◘ Who do they miss most from home? Would they go back if they could?
◘ What kind of music do you listen to while tagging? What does your character listen to ICly?
◘ Elaborate on what you've been working on improving in your writing style lately.
◘ What would their daemon spirit animal be, as from His Dark Materials?
◘ What have been your favorite threads with me?
◘ What do their dragons look like in Flight Rising?

And much, much more! Go wild! I recommend making a plain top level comment with just your list of characters, and replying to yourself to fill out things on your own.

SO TONY what does he think about having little Bucky who almost sort of looks up to him around versus brooding grouchy adult Bucky Cap who just wants to go manpain in the corner in team stuff?

Aaaand what are his thoughts on fishpeople Arthur? :'D

Oh, man. Tiny!Bucky is so weird to have around! In a not-really-bad way. He likes him. He appreciates his tendency not to get into personal issues and that they can just hit things or build things and pretend everything else is gone. It's absolutely bizarre dealing with a Bucky that isn't Cap!Bucky, because he's gotten used to manpain Bucky. He associates him with Steve in a "you are equal to Captain America" way, not a "you are like Steve's younger brother" way. And tiny Bucky is so innocent in some ways. It's weird and he still has moments where he's adjusting to the idea. He does kind of have the same feeling of looking out for Cap!Bucky, but definitely not at the same level. Also, tiny Bucky doesn't want to draw and quarter him. There's that. Although currently big Bucky has not tried to do that either so YAY LIFE!?

But yeah. You know what's weird? Anyone looking up to Tony. Especially someone who has partnered with Steve. He doesn't know how to handle that at all and he's trying not to think about it because he's probably going to screw it up. That is his IC expectation. I personally think it's cute. XD ...but he could screw it up.

TONY LIKES ARTHUR. Tony likes Arthur because he reminds him of Thor. I know I said that, but man does he remind Tony of Thor. Arthur is patiently regal and can be indifferent toward Tony's general stupid factor, which makes him feel self-conscious. But being humored-while-being-ignored is similar to Thor sometimes so he's got a tiny admiration!crush on him. Manly blond men, okay? Shut up. He just wants to be like the cool kids. It also helps that Arthur didn't try to drown him as soon as they met. Point to the Atlantean king that doesn't hate his guts! :D It's completely biased and he doesn't care.

And the fatherly dream helped. It hit a chord and he has a horrible soft spot for Arthur's fatherly instinct. Not a dickish father. Therefore Arthur gets bonus points. So, yes, kind of waxing poetic a bit on Arthur but he hits a lot of buttons close to Tony's heart. SHHH NOBODY SEES ANYTHING.

I REALLY LOVE THE CONTRAST BETWEEN HIS INTERACTIONS WITH EACH BUCKY not even gonna lie. Bucky doesn't have any of the grudges that his older self has and he has different grudges against people his older self can tolerate and that's so pronounced with Tony. He's kind of Bucky's favorite "future" person thus far because he hasn't tried to force anything deeper than dicking around/working together, which he really, really appreciates. Also Tony doesn't judge him or make him talk about feelings and gives him things to do when he's angry. He's actually getting to a point where he trusts him a little more than the usual battlefield-coworker-trust. I think he'd feel really bad if someone told him "hey you try to kill this guy in the future" :'D

sdaf;ahld Tony's mancrush on Arthur will never stop being hilarious. HE RESPECTS HIM MORE NOW THOUGH? He's just like "well okay you're actually making an effort to solve this problem and get people talking and collaborating so you're a step up from like 80% of my team of secretive assholes". He just does not subscribe to the Batparanoia Method of Doing Things so Tony's teamwork approach is a huge plus for him. Even if Arthur can't tell if he's trying to be mocking or complimenting half the time. It's okay he'll deal with it. Where does he sign up for the Avengers? He'll be the non-flooding-New-York Namor.

:'D "Hey you try to kill this guy in the future but he totally deserves it." And then he supports reviving him in the end, so blood debt paid. No hard feelings. It's pretty fascinating to compare small Bucky with older Bucky, really. Tony isn't the best with younger heroes, but Bucky somehow still carries himself with enough force that he thinks of him a little like older Bucky? They are weirdly bros. No one has to push anyone anywhere and they can just get along. XD

Arthur just has that presence, okay? Confident, forceful, but not trying too hard. That's what he admires. Impressive leadership qualities that Tony just doesn't have. He will probably continue to have that mancrush for awhile. WHOO kind of earning respect yay! He can do some things right, at least. He likes team efforts and business-friendly approaches. And he's kind of friendly teasing. Not mocking (usually), but Tony has to poke some fun. It's how Avengers show they care, clearly. How does I social skills? And, yes, Tony has now talked to Arthur twice and not almost been drowned. This is a record.

Rofl yeah, Bucky has technically just grown out of the 'teen hero' thing, but even when he was one, he was always more a soldier and an adult than he was always portrayed. I mean you can't stick a normal kid onto a battlefield with a tommy gun and say 'go shoot Nazis'. I PLAYED BUCKY CAP FOR LIKE TWO YEARS SO THIS IS REALLY NEAT TO WATCH WITH LITTLE BUCKY. He and Tony are totally weird bros and it somehow works. Like Bucky gave him a chance because of Steve and then Tony didn't ruin it so now there's a degree of trust. Making friends with Bucky is a complicated process when it doesn't begin with punching.

THE FUNNIEST PART HERE? Is that Tony actually has way more people who listen to him than Arthur does. He can call his team and they actually listen, Arthur tries to talk sense into people and they completely disregard it. He's used to leadership under the waves but he gets like no respect on land and also DC heroes have more ego. He kind of frysquints at the teasing because he's just so used to people being snide at him on the surface (so many fish jokes, so many) but I think he'll eventually get that it's not supposed to be mocking with Tony and take it better/tease back. :'D
