Tl;dr Mega Meme Bonanza
Comment with a list of your characters, receive questions, or just tl;dr on your own unprompted! Here's some suggestions. ◘ What does your character think of mine? ◘ What goes on during our handwaved CR? How much handwaved CR do we have? ◘ Canon information, for those unfamiliar with your canon. ◘ All sorts of headcanon questions-- sleeping positions, childhoods, past sexual or romantic history, etc. ◘ Would your character date mine? ◘ If they were put under a truth spell, what would come out? ◘ Where do you want to go with your character, story arc wise? ◘ Give an example of their daily routine in Keeliai. ◘ Who do they miss most from home? Would they go back if they could? ◘ What kind of music do you listen to while tagging? What does your character listen to ICly? ◘ Elaborate on what you've been working on improving in your writing style lately. ◘ What would their daemon spirit animal be, as from His Dark Materials? ◘ What have been your favorite threads with me? And much, much more! Go wild! I recommend making a plain top level comment with just your list of characters, and replying to yourself to fill out things on your own. |

Bruce: Thoughts on each of the batkids on the turtle.

But okay, here goes in no particular order. Una, Clara, Kyle, he thinks Eve is really pretty even if they only spoke once (Graysons don't have the only monopoly on redhead appreciation!) and probably Bryn.
But lbr it's Jim Kirk, he can find something to enjoy/appreciate about everyone even if they aren't his type specifically. These are just the people off the top of my head sob.
Bruce and the Batkids:
> Damian
&emps; Bruce and Damian have a really... weird relationship. It's a little bit strained and kind of distant. Damian is the only Robin to ever need a Robin, and Bruce recognizes the fact that he's just not a good person for Damian to look up to (and it's why he keeps trying to hand him off to Dick/Clark). He loves him and he would absolutely die for him, but he's... resentful a little, too, of his existence. When Talia told Bruce she was pregnant it was basically one of the happiest moments of his life, and then she pulled the whole LOL JUST KIDDING I MISCARRIED and it broke him pretty badly at the time, because he was basically ready to quit being Batman to be a father, and idk. He tries not to put that on Damian, but the dislike of what Talia did kind of... hangs over both of them and Bruce has a hard time letting go of it, especially with how Talia raised Damian.
> BBDick:
Bruce has no idea what to do with him. He looks at him and he sees all the mistakes he made with DCU!Dick and he hates that, so he keeps trying to... fix them, but he does it so ham-handedly that his attempts just come off as overbearing or flat-out rude. He tried to convince Dick to quit being a vigilante and train to be a cop because he's kind of cluing into the whole 'wow maybe I shouldn't make prepubescent teenagers vigilantes huh.' Because all he can do is look at DCU!Dick and see how broken he is and how much of it he caused. He's trying to be a good father to bb!Dick but it's. Having mixed success rates, because bb!Dick is constantly mentally comparing him to YJ!Bruce (who, let's face it, is the healthiest version of Bruce. Ever.) and it's just one big clusterfuck. But Bruce does genuinely care about him and wants him to have a good life, he just doesn't know how to... say it...
> Jason
OH GOD JASON NO WHY. Basically, Bruce keeps trying to pull Jay back from the darkness. Our Jay is from the Lost Days, pre-Red Hood stuff, so Bruce has all this experience and knowledge with Jay when he's broken and he's trying to apply that to 'fix' the younger version. With. Little success, because he honestly can't just say what Jay needs to hear. He keeps skirting around saying 'I love you/you're my son' and trying to figure out... you know, things that are sort of equivalent to that without the same sentiment and it's all very miserable and kind of pathetic. He did manage 'come home', which. Yeah. But Jason has forever been Bruce's greatest failure, and honestly I think there's a part of him that wouldn't know how to let go of that/forgive himself if he tried.
>Tim
Tim is of course the one who wins the Who's Going To Grow Up To Be A Better Batman award. Bruce and Tim don't have a lot of interaction on the turtle because they kind of do their own thing and share information, Bruce is kind of distant because of the whole hit list thing and so their relationship has mostly been a public front between playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake-Wayne. :c
>DCU!Dick
Count the ways. Dick disobeyed him, ran off to become Batman. Bruce knows he did what he had to, and he's tried to tell him that? But basically all Dick sees/can think about is the fact that he disobeyed Bruce and went against what basically amounted to his dying wishes. Spending almost two years away from Dick also allowed Bruce to step back and kind of... scrutinize the cracks in his foundation a little bit more, and he's looking at his and Dick's relationship in an entirely different light than usual. He wants to kind of stabilize it as best he can, but he doesn't have a damned clue where to start because he and Dick butting heads has been the foundation of their relationship for almost a decade. (Besides, with all the age retcons/etc, Dick is only like nine years younger than Bruce, so).
BASICALLY Bruce just. Sucks with all his children and my god he needs Alfred to help with this.
