THE TL;DR MEGA MEME BONANZA

I feel like we could be here forever talking about these two, so I'll try to keep it (relatively) simple:

Bruce's thoughts re: Zatanna's "Dream", and the thoughts leading up to deciding to tell her his (and Dick's) identity.

His thoughts are kind of... odd, because he knows the relationship Zatanna has with her dad back home, and how much it hurt her to lose him. As much as she betrayed his trust (because fuck that comic, really, I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT IT'S CALLED RIGHT NOW it pisses me off so much) he still feels protective of bitty!Zee, and kind of wants to see if she'll turn out differently than the one that, you know, decided that erasing his mind was a top-notch plan.

But honestly, I think the dream made him realize just how lost she feels without him. Zee's a little older than he was when he lost his parents, obviously, but there's a definite parallel there and he's torn between going full-on dad at her (black hair! blue eyes!!) and trying to keep his distance because he knows he could never fill Giovanni's shoes.

Basically, issues.

Leading up to the identity reveal, he was basically in the mindset he was back when he told Steph about Tim, except with the added bonus of it also revealing his identity. But it was a 'Dick deserves nice things and I should probably step up to the plate' reaction pretty much. I don't think he put that much conscious thought into 'why' he was doing it (he never does, COUGH SASHA BORDEAUX COUGH) so much as worked out all the possible problems it would cause.
