Tl;dr Mega Meme Bonanza
Comment with a list of your characters, receive questions, or just tl;dr on your own unprompted! Here's some suggestions. ◘ What does your character think of mine? ◘ What goes on during our handwaved CR? How much handwaved CR do we have? ◘ Canon information, for those unfamiliar with your canon. ◘ All sorts of headcanon questions-- sleeping positions, childhoods, past sexual or romantic history, etc. ◘ Would your character date mine? ◘ If they were put under a truth spell, what would come out? ◘ Where do you want to go with your character, story arc wise? ◘ Give an example of their daily routine in Keeliai. ◘ Who do they miss most from home? Would they go back if they could? ◘ What kind of music do you listen to while tagging? What does your character listen to ICly? ◘ Elaborate on what you've been working on improving in your writing style lately. ◘ What would their daemon spirit animal be, as from His Dark Materials? ◘ What have been your favorite threads with me? And much, much more! Go wild! I recommend making a plain top level comment with just your list of characters, and replying to yourself to fill out things on your own. |

What is your favorite thing about your writing style? c:
What kind of pet would Bruce get one if he was forced to get one?
BRUCE'S FAVORITE FOOD??? Also his favorite color.
I will probably ask you more later just because I'm nosy like that.

2. My favorite thing is definitely my poetry influence! I started writing in poetry for years and years before I got into fictional prose, and I think when I start to get deeper into introspection, that influence is very clear. I focus a lot on flow and enjambment, and atypical combinations of words evoking a particular aesthetic. I don't always succeed, of course, but I think it lends a certain emotional immediacy to my writing style that is characteristic of the purpose of poetry.
3. Bruce really loves dogs. He tries to pretend he doesn't, but in the deleted TIH scenes, and in the subsequent novelization by Peter David (the god of Hulk if there ever was one), they make that explicit. He likes having the company and he likes how simplistically dependable they are. He has a lot of kindness in him that he rarely feels free to express, and however much he verbally grumbles, he can express it toward the stray dogs he sometimes takes in.
4. Vegetarian Indian food!! Probably dosa of all varieties. His favorite color is definitely not green (or purple) and is probably blue -- both because it's calming and because it's Betty's eyes. (Yes, really. He's a sop.)
BE NOSY ALL YOU LIKE, I LOVE THIS STUFF <33

And the poetry thing is really cool! o: I admit that I really really like your writing style so it's interesting to see where some of that influence comes from. Maybe this is a sign that I should read more poetry. :|a
One more while I'm here: What would Bruce do/feel/say/idkwhateveryouwant if Betty ever did show up on the turtle? (Obviously MCU Betty since 616 Betty is already here.)

as;lkdpuhfa fffff you flatter me ♥♥ I think everyone wants to hear that they have a distinctive, enjoyable writing style. I PUT A LOT OF CONSCIOUS EFFORT INTO IT, SO I'M GLAD IT PAYS OFF FOR SOMEONE. I adore poetry, and if you want somewhere to start, I keep a small collection of poetry for Bruce.
I have no clue yet how things will settle out with 616 Betty, which would change this somewhat. In general, though, he'd be simultaneously full of the usual guilt for dragging her into this (it's obviously his fault, lol) and so relieved and maybe even happy to be somewhere that he could actually be with her. He'd be hovering and overprotective in his quiet, considerate kind of way. Not attached at the hip, but he's generally a much more stable person with her around. She'd probably get a minor break down to deal with that she'd contend with as gracefully as ever, because Betty.

1. His aunt that he went to live with after his mother died was somewhat intimidated and overwhelmed about how to deal with him (understandably so), so he never got close to her.
2. He hates General Ross. Like, a lot. He's never liked him, but he thinks that he's a detestable human being and would be smug to see him get some comeuppance. He never expresses this because it feels disrespectful to Betty, and he'd never try to make her choose. (She chooses him over her father of her own initiative.)
3. Bruce has a secret ego about his intelligence. He knows how smart he is and he takes some solace in that as self-worth. He's shy, awkward, and hesitant about admitting it because it's never brought him anything good from others, but his own personal relationship with his own intelligence is a positive one.
4. If the Hulk hadn't happened, he'd have ended up marrying Betty and fretting about fatherhood hardcore.
5. Everything the Hulk says about Bruce, or that Bruce says about the Hulk, is a direct reflection of his self-image. He's speaking about himself in all of those cases.

He has substantial faith in his intellectual abilities (this is not a small compliment from Bruce, lol) and thinks he seems like he's trying to be responsible, but is dubious at how well he'll pull it off. He seems like he gets in over his head fast. That said, he essentially likes him, and is more positively inclined than neutral (again, an accomplishment from Bruce). He doesn't trust him, though, because of all the veiled comments he's made about the Hulk, he resents the way he needles him into arguments and considers it manipulative, and overall would be happiest with a relatively business like relationship with him. Maybe shading into more overt friendship later, depending.
Bruce on religion-- this actually came up in a tag recently. XD He's a staunch atheist. He resents the idea that a God could exist, of any kind, not necessarily monotheistic, and let his life happen to him as some sort of test or gift. Aside from which, it's just scientifically unsupported, and he's the king of rationalization. He's gone down a few metaphysical / spiritual paths to learn meditation and so forth during his travels, but it's always been strictly practical, to learn their techniques. He discards any religious connotation that comes with it.
He's not confrontational, however. He just simply doesn't care. To him, religion is a fallacy and nothing he's seen has even hinted otherwise, so he ignores it. If others get some comfort from it, great; he's not so churlish that he'd begrudge them it.

I know it's not necessarily relevant but I love questions like that. Bruuuuce. ;3; Ah, I love reading about personal philosophy and different characters' opinions that shape their decisions. This is wonderful.

it's the getting him to care enough to try. We definitely have to do another thread with them-- the drinking might even come up in terms of Bruce being frustrated with MCU hitting the bottle pretty hard right now.Unrelated headcanons are fun though. 8D

2. How is Bruce handling getting Betty's photo
3. What kind of tea does Bruce like best (description of it's taste and smell)

2. It's a huge comfort to him. He's pretty paranoid and scared that he's going to lose it again, because he doesn't expect he'll be granted the miracle of a third chance at keeping it. It's nostalgically painful to see it, but he'd take that over having what she looks like fade out of his memory.
3. Hilariously enough, green tea. He likes the mild bitterness of it, and tends toward the unflavored pure greens, sometimes mixed with calming herbs such as chamomile. I headcanon that he's spent some time learning tea ceremony for the meditative aspect, and a lot of that is done with greens, too.

2. LOL that's hilarious! But he probably eats it! With an exasperated smile. He might make a dour, humorous comment to her about it, teasing her, but that's all the acknowledgement he'd make of it.
3. He doubts her sanity, is worried for her, and is highly resentful. He knows she probably can't be hurt by the Hulk, but the instinctive, kneejerk concern is impossible for him to totally suppress. And he resents anything that gives credence to the Hulk's sentience or acknowledges him as a separate entity, and especially a potentially positive one. Bruce flat out hates him, and it's sort of like having one of your friends chum up with someone that makes your blood boil just to be in the same room with. Except he's in the same body with him. So he can't even know what they actually do. YEAH.

2. Nutrition is important man!!! She can lecture for hours on it.
3. And she's stuck in the awkward position where she can't even mediate between them and likes them both! (unsure) Just get along guys so she can be friends with both of you, she's short on friends.
