Apologies for being on the slowish side for NPC availability but! Through the course of investigations will be discovered that every Foreigner who went trick or treating has acquired themselves at least one pot of what appears to be iridescent paint, sometimes more than one. Experimenting with these pots (because lbr who doesn't want a few randomly shimmery possessions) oddly enough lets ghosted characters interact with them completely solidly. Which, if you've inadvertently been ignoring someone, might mean you get your new shiny lamp thrown at your head.

Now if people get the smart idea to the paint the paint, that would let ghosted characters get hold of this stuff themselves...

TL;DR - Ghosted characters can paint themselves back into phase. Eating the stuff is also acceptable.

Hello, Chelonauts. This is Kaji and Farrah, bringing you the most sorrowful of news. Team Hugs (Asbel and Richard) are returning home, for their people need them. We’ve come to realize neither of us have the time or energy to get them anywhere near as involved as they should be, and while we’ve loved our cr deeply, we wouldn’t do them justice or true friendship by limping along this way, particularly in such a wonderfully plot-driven game as this. Because when you’re protecting your friends, they deserve your best.

Richard’s portion of the swizards all go to Tony and Qilby. His notes on collected information also go to them to do with what they will. Asbel’s swizard, Maggie, will be sent to Jaime with half of his collected flowers. The other half will all go to Tony, containing the majority of the surviving sopherias.

Furthermore, for all his CR, Asbel left a simple handwritten message to be delivered, thanking each and every one of them, and saying he was truly honored and happy to have met them all. Tony gets a further addendum, saying he was proud to be able to call him his friend. Evandau himself receives a similar note, but it is also signed, in oddly childlike handwriting by Lambda, next to Asbel’s signature.

Richard isn’t quite as embarrassing as Asbel. When he sent handwritten notes of heartfelt affection to all of his friends (to be delivered on his disappearance), he made certain to have them delivered with flowers. Have some class, Asbel.

Our antisocial immortal jackasses, Sei and Dorian, will still be being jerks all about the turtle, so it isn’t truly the end for us! It is simply the end of friendship. Love is Over. Bring on self-centred, brooding lovelessness!

But seriously, we’re truly sorry to all their CR, and we’re both sad to let these two go.

Activity Check | October 1 - 31, 2013

Welcome to Tu Shanshu's monthly activity check!

This period of AC covers October 1st to October 31st and in order to qualify for this period, the thread or posts in question need to fall between these dates. Although the AC has a grace period of seven days in which to post your threads, any post or thread must be started between the dates of October 1st and October 31st. Backtagging is fine – if your thread is standing at nine comments and the final contribution to it comes between the 31st and the 7th, that's totally acceptable! But keep the starting date requirement in mind.

That said, here are the requirements of a Tu Shanshu activity check!

1. One post, either in tushanshu_logs or tushanshu respectively. It's perfectly acceptable to have made more than one post (or one in each, for example) but you must meet the minimum requirement of one, and there has to be evidence of you having made an effort to reply to the tags.

2. A total of twenty comments in other people's threads throughout the game, either in a log or in the primary comm. This cumulative count may be reached in a maximum of four separate threads, but requires twenty overall comments from your character, not the final total of the thread itself.

One important thing to note: If you have used a thread with a particular character to meet your AC in one month, you are NOT ALLOWED to solely use that same character again in the following month. In other words: At least one of the threads you use for AC must be with a character that was not used to make AC in the prior month. This is to encourage tagging outside of your established CR.

For example: I'm playing Luke Skywalker, and for this month's AC I used a thread with Han Solo to make my comment AC. That means that next month, I'm not permitted to use Han again, even if we've done a dozen threads since. However, a thread with Leia Organa is perfectly acceptable.

Characters accepted in October 2013 or who were on official and approved hiatus for two weeks or more during the activity period are exempt from the Activity Check. However, everyone is encouraged to fill it out so that we have a record of your activity, and so we don't accidentally sweep anyone from the game.

If for any reason you have been unable to meet the AC and your character is 'swept' from the game, you may reclaim this character once if you reply to the Activity Check results. If that particular character lands on the AC again, you will need to re-apply for them, except in the case of extenuating circumstances. Characters who are not reclaimed will be considered dropped, and removed from the game.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: For those interested in apping a 4th character at the conclusion of this AC, please be advised we do look for additional activity before approval to app a 4th will be granted. That means we are looking for double AC - for example, a post and twenty comments or forty comments. Making two posts, however, is not permissible.
