Rabbit in the Moon - Mini Event

So, Makoto has accomplished one of her dreams and between what she has earned from work (and probably loans which she'll never be able to pay off) she's managed to procure for herself a bakery. She will officially christen the bakery "Rabbit in the Moon" in honor of the Tsukimi story of the Jade Rabbit (it's also a nod to the other rabbit of the moon, Usagi). Speaking of Tsukimi, she will be holding the abridged version of the Tsukimi festival on the bakery's opening night. It's the moon viewing festival and it typically lasts much longer than one evening--mid September to mid October thereabouts--but she's holding it on the night of the 19th (full harvest moon time). So anyone who wants to come can enjoy the ambiance, she'll try to make it as authentic as she can, and they can sample her baked goods. Since she'll be spending a lot of time experimenting with flavors to get approximations the variety will be limited, but a version of tsuki dango will definitely be on the menu. So to reiterate! Instigating Character/Incident: Makoto Kino. Once she gets her bakery up and running she'll want to celebrate the grand opening with a gimmick. Event Outline: Around this time of year the Tsukimi festival takes place and the duration is usually between September and October, but Makoto wants to celebrate it only on the night of the harvest moon. It's basically advertisement for her bakery which she plans on naming "Rabbit in the Moon" which is both a nod to Usagi and the Tsukimi festival fairy tale. Basically people will come to sample her goods and look at the moon (mingle, be at peace with the universe, whatever). Areas Affected: It will be held in the Wood Sector. Long-Term Impact: Returning customers and (hopefully) a pretty good foothold in the Baking Industry. Makoto might also be able to manipulate the food in different ways with her personal flavor palette which could also have an effect, at least as far as baked goods go. Suggested Duration & Dates: The night of September the 19th. No pressure. It's going to be a pretty relaxed affair and if you have anything you'd like to bring to the table I'm totally open. Makoto is only 15 and her business sense is limited, so she'll definitely take pointers from anyone with experience in that particular realm as well.

Team ASS/Malicant Investigations With Your Pal Iorveth/Post Palace Raid Chat - Meet up log plottans

OKAY, so, to get everyone ICly caught up with everyone else and have characters start brainstorming what to do with the information they've found, I'm going to be putting up a log for a meet up discussion at the same burned out village that they met at during the first meet up. This one is going to sort of be a free for all, tag whoever you want whenever you want, kind of thing as opposed to the before, after and during threads from last time. So just sort of free discussion.

OOCly, we can use this plot post to brain up what we'd like that to decide on doing. There's going to be a few things Iorveth brings up here. Firstly, the journal that was found in the palace, secondly, the lantern found in the palace (for this one, Marius, Enjolras, Damian and Zel - would they have moved the lantern at all? i'm not sure if you guys talked out what to do about it), and thirdly, Vanessa's knowledge/suspicions about the cloning facilities.

Mainly Iorveth will want to talk about the possible solution to defeating Malicant referenced in the journal, but he'll want to talk about if the lantern is connected to it, and talk about how it's sounding like Eshai is using their actual souls as a light to keep Malicant at bay, and how that might work into the solution too :|a
