event hmd!

As before, and for anyone who may have missed it, at the end of every mod-run event in Tu Shanshu, we try to toss up an open dialogue post so that the events can be discussed. This is mostly to see if everybody's as happy as possible with the direction the game is going, whether or not the events could be considered a hit or a miss, that sort of thing.

This particular HMD covers the Satellite Crash event (OOC planning post) and Tu Vishan's Dreaming, (IC post)

Did you like what happened? Did the event run too fast, or too slow? Were you able to feel like your character contributed or made a impact on the event? Would you like to make more of a difference? Has there been too much 'downtime' for the characters, do you have any suggestions to make about future events, etc etc? Did the Satellite event run long enough for you? Would you like to see more NPC-driven events, or less? Did you feel that there was enough for combatants and non-combatants alike to participate in?

OBVIOUSLY if you have more comments, questions or concerns than those listed above you can add those as well! This is pretty much just a general list.

Please remember, ANON IS ON for this and IP LOGGING IS OFF so if you have anything you'd like to say but maybe you're more comfortable putting it forth anon that is a-okay! You can also feel free to PM us at this journal, or to toss a private plurk at either of the mod accounts (those being vonnerdyce or reignsdown) if that suits your fancy. Any and all comments are welcome, and though participation in this meme isn't required it's definitely encouraged if you're up for it.

Hey Tushies, Hannah here! I'm re-adding a third character to my roster now that I remember what free time means. Her name is Catty Turner from the Daughters of the Moon books, and she just took the Creator into her body and destroyed an ancient evil. And herself in the process. As you do. This was after working as a double agent for said ancient evil for a number of months, so she's kind of trying to hide how messed up she is about that right now.

It's also made her a little ethically challenged, shall we say. Catty has the power to read minds and the concept of asking first hasn't really occurred to her yet. I have a permissions post up for her over here, and if people could fill that out it would be awesome c: ALSO SHE CAN TIME TRAVEL, COME ON LOSERS WE'RE GOING TO THE PAST.

I'm really excited to start throwing her around! Also this sort of marks the time when I will be able to tag more things and not be the slowest person in the world, so I am looking forward to being back in general. As always, y'all can get in touch with me at hannahcake or at xfeilynx on AIM.

Oh no Al is turning into a Crazy Dolphin

Oh man this is my second OOC post in less than a week I'm so sorry ANYWAY HI TURTLE TOWN! I bring you +1 new character.

This guy here is Frank Zhang from the Percy Jackson books, and also a demigod. What's with them why do they multiplying I don't even... I'm going to explain who he exactly is on the next paragraph so skip it if you don't want to be spoiled about Son of Neptune!

He's the son of the Roman god of war Mars which means he's wicked good at strategy and weapons, the older the better (Romans). But honestly he's the least Mars-like son you could imagine, he's not belligerent at all. He's actually pretty much a pacifist. He's also the Legacy of Poseidon (yup, that's the Greek version, it's a long story) which grants him shape-shifting powers which basically means the ability to turn into a crazy Dolphin. No, really. Actually he can only shape-shift into animals and only animals he knows well to boot. If you want to know more about how that works check out his app!

As for non-demigod abilities he's a very good archer, a little awkward and extremely shy but loyal and nice to boot.  Also he comes from the end of Mark of Athena, working title everything is a mess and everyone is crying (tm).

As for me I'm Al, I already play Superman in here (andaway ) and I'm suuuper excited to try a character that's a little different. My name is Ken and I bring you this little guy here. Luke Castellan of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I know this is a little on the late side but it's been a little crazy lately. I'm not really good with intros but I'm going to give it a shot.

So I have been playing Luke in few places for about a year now and I think I got the hang of him? He's gonna be on the neutral side at first and possibly go back to his old ways? or maybe stay good? It could really go either way.

Belated Hiatus Notice!

I actually started yesterday, but I forgot to say anything. I will be going on hiatus with Wally here until about the 22nd (at the very latest) so I can focus on some things that have been lacking my attention. I'll still be tagging through things I started before the hiatus and trying to wrap those up.
