Hi everyone! I'm Sage, and I'm new here. I'm really nervous about joining a new (and wonderfully expansive) game, but I hope I can get myself settled in and cozy quickly. I'd love to meet everyone here!

And with the player, of course, is her puppet! This here is Marceline from Adventure Time. You can expect to see her being pretty cozy in this world, since she really doesn't get too overwhelmed by new dimensions. She's a night owl, so you'll probably wind up running into her during the evening and late nights. She's just a little bit cracked, but in a pretty harmless way (at least, for a vampire whose dad is a demon!)

Hey, it's Cass here! I was here a few months ago with Tarrlok before I got busy and had to drop a bunch of things. But I'm back again now! For those of you that weren't here when I was: he's a smug douchebag politician with an angsty past that kind of confuses "doing the right thing" with "doing the thing that will be most beneficial to him". Also he has a stupid brother that goes around talking about equality a lot. You might have heard of him.

Hello, turtle-ites! It's Chasekat, Cobb's player, with a vastly different character. I'm bringing you Gavroche from the Brick AKA Les Miserables by Victor Hugo! For those of you that haven't seen the musical or read the book, Gavroche is a street urchin--think the Artful Dodger but French--who likes singing, stealing from people, being a little shit, and breaking the hearts of viewers/readers. I recommend watching this super short clip. He'll be coming in post-death, which is totally messed up but I honestly don't think it'll bother him because HE'S NOT LIVING IN AN ELEPHANT ANYMORE?????

That's like, wicked convenient because I just so happen to have one laying around.

My name is Bing, and I'm quite literally chair-dancing with glee to be given the opportunity to bring you guys Michaelangelo in all of his B&W duo-toned Mirage Volume One glory.

Like his brothers from other motherscanons, Michaelangelo is a mutant turtle trained in the shadow arts by his middle-aged mutant ninja rat sensei Splinter to be an instrument of revenge/vengeance.

Unlike his brothers, Michaelangelo doesn't really like to dwell on that all that much...if at all. As far as he's concerned he's just a regular guy who's perfectly happy to go about his regular guy-like business. Life is just too short to fuss about the details, not when there's far more awesome things to focus on. Things like food, the eating of food, sleeping, laughing, and New Comic Day.

Of course, he's never been quite this far away from home before, and certainly not on his own...so this should be interesting.

 Hello, everyone! My name is Ireny, I'm new here, and I'll be bringing in Temeraire from the series of the same name!

For those of you unfamiliar with the series, it's probably best described as the Napoleonic Wars WITH DRAGONS. Temeraire in particular is (surprise) a dragon with a fondness for books, shiny things, and JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE. He's been shrunk down to roughly thirty feet so he doesn't knock everything in Keeliai over, so expect him to be poking his nose into things and asking innocently invasive questions about the personal lives of humans because he hasn't been this size in years, oh boy. For those of you who do know the series, he's coming in from near the end of Empire of Ivory, just before he and Laurence find about that Bad Thing that the Admiralty did, so his angst levels will be pretty low!

Evening, turtle-ites!

The OOC pages were tweaked today to reflect the impact of the February meta plot event and to reflect the March 1st changes to the game structure. In summary, the following changes were made:

Welcome
The new means of arrival has been clairified. All characters now appear in the Palace of Landed Sky and are escorted off the grounds by kedan, then driven to Keeliai in a cart. They are given the stand spiel about it being a land in-between life, dreaming, and death with all detailed queries referred to as being the Emperor's business.

Gameplay
The fourth-walling rule has been clarified to reflect that there is a potential impact to an entire cast when one character is fourth-walled. We ask that all current cast members be canvassed before any degree of fourth-walling occurs to prevent accidental fourth-walling by extension.

Also, the respawning system of the game is undergoing a change! With the discovery of the cloning facility beneath the turtle, there is no longer a steady flow of bodies flowing to the surface. All new life is brought to Keeilai by Eshai and she must also create the bodies. Creating new bodies for current Foreigners that have died ties up valuable resources and there are now delays to it happening. Please check out the gameplay page for details!

FAQ
A question and answers has been provided regarding re-applications of characters previously played, including clarifying when a new first person sample would be required.

Applications
The March 1st changes have been added to the applications page, including clarifications as to the nature of re-apps.

Setting
Eva has been added to the NPC list and a variety of general tweaks were made.

Hey guys. This week is wrecking me (group presentations, papers, press tour, screenings, conference, tutoring, work, etc etc), so I need to call a hiatus from now until Mon, March 11. I'll still work on existing tags where possible, but they'll be unfortunately slower and I may not be able to tag new things.

HI EVERYONE, it's Egg (I play seriouslytwisted) for the unaware, bringing in my second and probably only other character into Tu Shanshu!

This is Castiel from the TV show Supernatural. He's an angel and he heals things and can teleport and bring people with him and will stare at you and make you uncomfortable. He doesn't Computer so he'll probably be wandering around instead of having an IC intro tho, but.

I've yanked him from an earlier canon point, so he won't have any memories of his last stay here, but he is back in the Wood Sector as before. I look forward to doing new things with him and building CR again.
