Possible Mini-Plot: Movie Night?

A group of us on Plurk somehow managed to brainstorm the idea of doing some sort of slumber party/movie night get-together for all the teens and tweens of the turtle.  Inspired by the notion of wanting to introduce Kara to horror movies, but open to any who want to stop by and join the fun.  Basically, if your character is under the age of 18 (or, in some cases, at least looks/acts like they're under the age of 18), they'll be invited!

I'm thinking they would all gather in one large room--maybe some sort of conference room at a youth center or other building--with a giant screen and projector and a handful of horror movies.  Preferably of the cringe-worthy kind.  The more horrible, the better.  Sleeping bags would be a-plenty, anything remotely healthy would be banned on sight, and general PJ-clad shenanigans would ensue.

That said, I'm open to any and all suggestions.  Movie Titles.  Location.  Ways to get the word out IC.  Once we get something relatively organized, I'll put up a mingle-style log for the included parties to tag into.

Hello folks! Jae here, mun of Steve Rogers, bringing in a new character. Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens, from the TV show Justified, based on the books and short stories of Elmore Leonard.

He's from Harlan County, which is historically one of the most violent districts in the United States, and is a soft-spoken gentleman unless he's being a creatively insulting, crabby hillbilly, and he has a tendency to shoot bad guys who give him reason to do it. He also has a soft spot for coal miners and a grudge against corporate powers. He's living in EA-1C, so HOWDY NEIGHBORS. 8D

Hey everyone! Cat here, your resident Kara Thrace player bringing you Inara Serra from Firefly! She's post series but pre Serenity, SO THAT SHOULD BE FUN. She's replacing Stephanie Plum, who was fun but yes -- LOTS TO REMEMBER and there's like 19 books and yes. Too. Much. Canon.

Anyway, for those of you that aren't familiar with Firefly, Inara is from a time in the future when basically all of Earth's resources are used up/depleted/etc, and humanity migrates to a new solar systems and terraforms a bunch of planets and oh there's a lot of Chinese influences because it was one of the major superpowers when the exodus occurred. :D Her app is here if you want to read some mo'. Whatever, hello out there!

The name is Kate, or K8, one of the newbies from this app round bringing in Johanna Mason from The Hunger Games, aka that series about some teenager who is on fire and fights people ala battle royale style. It's better than I'm describing it, I promise.

Like Finnick, Johanna here won her Games a few years prior to canon by pretending to be a big crybaby, then going on an axe murder spree (literally) after most of the contenders were dead. She's a wise crackin' lady with a fierce temper, and has a tendency to be kind of a jerk. She's also got those boundary issues like her best bro, but that's more for the sake of laughs.

She's post series for those of you who are canon familiar, meaning she's already gone through all that Capitol trauma. Guess who doesn't like baths, roomies in WO-1B. Yeah, I'm sorry about that in advanced.
