 OKAY SO first thing first, I'm really sorry about the comments on the ooc intro, for some reason they all ended in the spam inbox and I didn't notice them until days later. Way to make a first impression! But it should be solved now so if you reply to this I will see it.

NOW for the two reasons for this post:

First, I've made the permissions post I talked about so if you were so kind fo fill it for me I'd appreciate it <3 it's not a big deal, simply a few questions I need so I am sure I'm not stepping on any boundaries with Kal's fuckton of powers.

AAAND SECOND... Kal is already thinking of making some kind of newspaper in this place. Not on... paper obviously- but some kind of Online Daily Planet. He wants to make sure everybody is informed about the things that happen in here- especially after he's asked around about the kidnappings that went on. He's a firm believer that information means powers so if all the foreigners had that kind of thing around it'd be easier to organize them.

So my question is, would your character be willing to help out with a project like this?

Activity Check - August 1-31, 2012

Welcome to Tu Shanshu's very first activity round! This period of AC covers August 1st to August 31st and in order to qualify for this period, the thread or posts in question need to fall between these dates. Although the AC has a grace period of seven days in which to post your threads, any post or thread must be started between the dates of August 1st and August 31st. Backtagging is fine – if your thread is standing at nine comments and the final contribution to it comes between the 31st and the 7th, that's totally acceptable! But keep the starting date requirement in mind.

That said, here are the requirements of a Tu Shanshu activity check!

1. One post, either in tushanshu_logs or tushanshu respectively. It's perfectly acceptable to have made more than one post (or one in each, for example) but you must meet the minimum requirement of one, and there has to be evidence of you having made an effort to reply to the tags.

2. A total of ten comments in other people's threads throughout the game, either in a log or in the primary comm. This cumulative count may be reached in a maximum of two separate threads, but requires ten overall comments from your character, not the final total of the thread itself.

One important thing to note: If you have used a thread with a particular character to meet your AC in one month, you are NOT ALLOWED to use that same character again in the following month. This is to encourage tagging outside of your established CR. For example: I'm playing Luke Skywalker, and for this month's AC I used a thread with Han Solo to make my comment AC. That means that next month, I'm not permitted to use Han again, even if we've done a dozen threads since. However, a thread with Leia Organa is perfectly acceptable.

Characters accepted in August 2012 or who were on hiatus for three weeks or more during the activity period are exempt from the Activity Check. However, everyone is encouraged to fill it out so that we have a record of your activity, and so we don't accidentally sweep anyone from the game.

If for any reason you have been unable to meet the AC and your character is 'swept' from the game, you may reclaim this character once if you reply to the Activity Check results. If that particular character lands on the AC again, you will need to re-apply for them, except in the case of extenuating circumstances. Characters who are not reclaimed will be considered dropped, and removed from the game.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: For those interested in apping a 4th character at the conclusion of this AC, please be advised we do look for additional activity before approval to app a 4th will be granted. In this case, that means we are looking for double the comment count with each existing character in your roster. You do not need to make two posts and twenty comments per character, but we do ask that you meet the minimum requirement of one post, in addition to at least twenty of your comments, spread across a maximum of four threads.
