Hello everybody it is Madi and I have returned at last!!! If you've been here long enough, you might remember me as the Lina Inverse (dragonswag) and Mandorallen (inshiningarmor) player, and now I am rejoining the ranks with Selina Kyle, AKA Catwoman! She's taken from early on in the Volume 3 run (after #19) and she'll be living in WO-2B. I'm pretty new to DC in general and while I'm reading more Catwoman stuff all the time, I'm not familiar with everything she's ever done or everyone she's ever met, so if you've got canon CR with Selina it is probably a good idea to hash things out OOCly so we're on the same page. I'm DC baby be gentle with me friends

ANYWAY I am super excited to be here again!!! I missed you guys, and I'm excited to meet all the new folks who have joined since I dropped :D I am reachable at runawayballista (preferred) or on AIM at timetravelresetbaby, please hit me up if you would like to plot things!! I am very excited to be back in the game and to toss Selina around and I am down for pretty much anything :D

So I know Lois has some history with Catwoman (though not civilian Selina Kyle, I believe); I think there was a point where Superman was mind controlled and Selina had options of Lois, Jimmy, and Perry--and decided Lois was the proper person to throw off a building to get his attention. It worked, the mind-control broke! But she didn't know the Super Secret Identity (TM), she just picked his wife through luck. I don't remember when that happened, I just have a vague memory that it happened. I'll see if I can find a reference for you.

That said, I don't think Lois knows Selina Kyle is Catwoman unless it is Very Public Knowledge, though someone in the Batfamily might tell her if she asked.

Buuuut, if given opportunity, how would Selina react to a request for some extra training in breaking-and-entering techniques?

(I also play Gaius Septimus, who would probably have hilarious interaction with her as well, but Lois has actual Things.)

Oh man I did not know about that! If you could find a reference that would be great :O And yeah, she likely would not know Selina is Catwoman. It wouldn't be too hard to figure out if she pestered the Batfamily about it though, if you want her to find out :B

It'd depend on how the request came about I think (and she'd definitely want to know why), but we could certainly work something out. I'd like to because that sounds like excellent CR :D I'm not familiar with Gaius Septimus but I will take anybody 8D

I could be misremembering, but I think something like that happened. Still, Lois might well poke around, especially if she hears Selina's from Gotham. I think she disbelieves in coincidence.

The 'why' is probably breaking into the palace. Lois already has palace blueprints, though maybe not wholly accurate. But if Lois finds out she's got the best catburglar handy, she'll totally try to shanghai her into an Adventure.

Oh man Selina would probably say yes on the condition that she gets access to the blueprints, too, and/or come along. She'll definitely want to know why Lois wants to break into the palace, too. And I'm sure it wouldn't take much prying around for her to make the Selina-Catwoman connection 8)

Oh, Selina would totally be invited. Badass woman whose fighting skills Lois has a concrete measure of, and one totally willing to circumvent Superman and Batman? Totally would end up on Lois' speeddial.

Ahah, as for why, would "because I have blueprints and they're clearly hiding things, so why not" suffice for Selina?

Omg Hi Selina hi :3 I'm sort of new! So introduction, yes, right. I'm Amy, and I play Dick, here, who is from at the very end of Battle for the Cowl, so... pretty far in, but he's just become Batman, so, Bruce is dead and life sucks, except it's getting better on the turtle! I also play Billy Kaplan (witchnotwarlock), who is from Young Avengers from Marvel, and he's a crime fighting kid with powers.

I'M SO EXCITED WOW YES SO EXCITED. I'm always on AIM at liljewishgoy, and on plurk at psychopomphic and yes! Very excited. And you came at a landfall thing which I think is pretty cool, because it's my first xD

Heeee :D Billy is from Children's Crusade, so waaay before the new run of it, because I like the original runs too >> But yessss, I really love how Dick and Selina interact because he's like "Yeah, uh huh, Bruce used to tell me to get scarce whenever she's around, yuppers" BUT YES I am really excited and it's nice to meet you and we should totally do things. All the things!

Hi there! I'm Marie, and I don't think that I was here when you were previously. I play this kid, Bart Allen from DC who is aka as Kid Flash. He's met Selina Kyle - who he is on record as thinking is hella fine - because Tim Drake assigned him to protect her from Ra's ninja (Don't ask me why she couldn't defend herself, this is how comics work).

SCOTT LANG!!! oh man Scott Lang. It's been forever and a day since I read any Marvel but I used to play Jessica Jones 8D and oops. I've been told I'm a terrible enabler, and that would indeed be shenanigans although I've yet to read any DCnU :'D

....Jessica Jones, you say? mO__________Om I actually haven't read much of her outside of Alias but I loved that a lot. But I also enjoy characters who swear a lot so maybe that's why.

Actually, I heard Aquaman and Wonder Woman and a few other lesser known titles were okay but everything I've read so far has just made me wither and die inside. I'm Zoë, and I play this guy! Former Robin and current Red Robin, Tim! Not sure what you've read, but they definitely have some canon cr! She once stitched up a pretty nasty throatcut for him during Hush, and they worked together briefly during the Contagion storyline, if I'm remembering correctly--though he was Robin then (and surely some other times, too, because Gotham, but I can't remember everything off the top of my head).

Anyway, welcome, and hi!
