[It's not still Roy Harper. Roy's had a rough time, and he's come out of it a better ki- man than he ever could have been if he hadn't learned what it was like to be kicked when he was down. To have someone else that you put first. If you take away Roy's past, he loses something essential that carves out his personality and drives his opinions.

Ollie can't picture him any other way and doesn't want to.]

Our Roy doesn't always like me, and I don't always like him.

[What is he supposed to do with one that he can't needle about that time he crashed the Arrowcar to diffuse the tension?]

[He's supposed to treat him as a person in his own right, and learn to like him?

Dinah takes a step back, keeping Ollie's hands in hers, but letting them fall in front of them.]

Just promise me you won't avoid him.

[He is not a person in his own right! He is Roy Harper, except that he's not Roy Harper, and, if he doesn't hold up to Roy, Ollie is going to read him the Riot Act daily until he does.

Ollie grunts at her.]

I won't avoid him.

[That isn't a promise. The word promise was never said allowed, and he can't be held to that fairly. Besides, he'll make Roy avoid him.]

Dinah pulls herself closer to him and gives him a light kiss to acknowledge the not-a-promise.]

[Yep, he's gonna be screwed when he meets Roy, one way or another. Sealing the deal with a kiss is cheating, pretty bird.

Ollie breaks away and deliberately messes up her hair before collecting his bow from the ground. He looks up at the city in the distance and sighs.]

Let's get this show on the road. I don't care if they say time is frozen. I left Mia and Connor in charge, and they have access to my bank account. I'm not going home to Zen Garden 90210.

[She interlaces her fingers with his and starts back to the walkway. Her motorcycle wasn't really built for two, but they've ridden worse together.]
