How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.

[Unlike other times, he's actually going to hang back and watch Ollie get conned out of a few juulan. It's a dumb, childish thing to take pleasure in but he can use a little schadenfreude at the expense of-- well. Oliver Queen. Not the man who'd been here before, Kyle was pretty sure this was their Ollie. The goatee was a dead giveaway.]

[So he strolls up beside Ollie as the other man's leaving the shop, in full Obnoxious Punk™ mode.]

Not the GA I was hoping to see.

[There's no bite to the words, he's done being bitter. Or it just hasn't hit him yet that he should be.]

[... you are so lucky that you're Connor's friend, Kyle. Because that is the only reason Ollie has to not take offense at that. He knows exactly how that song goes. After all...]

Point is, we're stuck on a giant turtle with no way off, and you just spent a bit too much money on a fruit.

[A beat, and then his expression softens.]

No, the point is that we don't spend enough on fruit back home because, if we did, farmers would get paid a living wage and still have enough to pay migrants workers more than piss and dirt. Since that means you kids'd have to give up cable and clubs, the idea never gets off the ground.

[Ollie nods at the acknowledgement, though.]

[This is Kyle. This is Kyle's face on "oh my God you're even worse than Connor" before it changes to "wow so that's where he gets it from". But instead of his usual anger, it just fades into sadness. He misses his friend.]

[And then the rest of it comes through.]

So you've only just come back?

[Ollie's gearing up for round two (Higher Minimum Wage & Higher Prices: A Love Story), when Kyle starts to look like a puppy that's been kicked a few too many times. He'll save that one.]

Coupla months ago, yeah. Why?

[He opens his mouth and prays the words Connor's been shot won't come out--]

[Ollie looks panicked for a second, but then he can suddenly breathe again. The kid spends too much time with no oxygen; he's got the timing mixed up. He still doesn't look happy about the subject, though.]

Yeah, I know. I told you, I got back months ago. The guy took out half the doctors in the OR, too. Connor pulled through just fine. It's a miracle he didn't lose any mental capacity - doc said we only use 10% of our brains. He got lucky.

[imaginate]

[He just looks briefly confused.]

What? Oh.

[Oh. It's a mixup. The wrong bullet, and he breathes out in relief.]

[Just gonna process this.]

So they put you in Wood Sector?

[Only Ollie doesn't always let things go when his kids are involved.]

You're telling me he didn't call you and tell you he was okay? Connor. Connor Hawke.

[Then he just facepalms. A+ Kyle.]

[Ollie just nods at this.]

Yeah, there was. It looked like a nice crowd, too. Gotta say I was surprised at the turnout. Don't worry about it, you weren't the only face missing.

[BRUCE.]

[But then he gives an exasperated sigh.]

It was the Arrowcave. And I haven't used it in a decade so, no, the Arrowhouse it ain't.

Long story short: loads of people here from our world or variations thereof. Couple are similar in personality. Couple aren't. And you were here, alternate you, from just after the island.
