test drive!

Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.
How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:
- Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
- Tag around with everyone!
- Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
But wait, there's more! For the low, low price of $9,999.99, you can even use one of our handy prompts when you tag someone. You could even pick one with a Random Number Generator to help decide which prompt to go with!
- A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace. - Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell! - Hey, I Just Met You, and This is Crazy...
First impressions are always the most important, right? - WILDCARD!
Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!
Hermione Granger | Harry Potter
...With the exception that she is a witch...and she uses magic...it's the antithesis to logic, but her no nonsense point still stands.]
In the marketplace, reaching for the same thing?
It's magic in the making!
She looks from Aang to the item they both want...and the only one left. Truly, this is a dilemma.]
Just a moment, while I appreciate the gesture, there's no reason one should have to go without. I'm sure there's a logical solution. [And that's when she whips out her wand, briefly tapping her chin before directing the point of it at the item.] Ah, I know, a duplication charm should do just the trick.
[A few complex flourishes later and magically one was now two...except with a duplication charm the original of an object is usually better, it doesn't break down or tarnish the way the copy does. Aang doesn't need to know that so she'll go ahead and give him the original.] Every problem has a solution. I'm Hermione Granger, by the way.

.....Aang.
How...how did....

Oh, it was just a simple charm. I'm a witch so I can use magic...well I'm still learning, but I've already been able to perform several simple spells. If you can understand the theory then putting it to practice is simple enough.

[It's a question that sounds more like a disbelieving statement than an actual inquiry.]

[You're a skeptic too, huh? Well it's not as though she can't understand that.]
Shall I give you another example.

[It's not that he doesn't believe you,...okay so it's a little bit that he doesn't believe you. But that stuff, magic and the like? It's not real.
...
Right?]
no subject
[Well, if Hermione is anything to go by then yes, magic is very real.]
Oh, how rude of me. My name is Hermione Granger.

[He follows this up with a small bow.]
I don't think I've ever met a real witch before.
no subject
[She's unfamiliar with this particular protocol, but gives an awkward little bow in return.]
Well normally we are not supposed to reveal ourselves to muggles, it is like a code of secrecy of sorts.
