a wild teal deer appears!

How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

He has a lot of respect and admiration for how intelligent she is, and how relentlessly she applies that altruistically and for helping others. She's blunt and abrasive about it sometimes, but Bruce is that way himself, and he sees right through it to her compassion. The way she tried to encourage him to self-acceptance immediately in their first conversation, but in an extremely logical way, without knowing anything about his circumstances, hit him really hard and kind of endeared her to him forever. Even if he never will agree with her on that, Bruce really needs people to say it to him anyway, and it means a lot.
He is, honestly, really worried about her, because like we went over, he picks up on subtle cues well and he can see that something is going on. He also knows that anyone as mature as she is at her age has to have had a hard life, and he accepts that with a kind of tired resignation. He'll do whatever he can to help not because he's trying to return it or feels it's owed, but flatly he just thinks she deserves it. She reminds him of a sharper tongued, more outgoing Betty, and once you make that association in Bruce's head you're just doomed. XD
He barely understands this gods thing and frankly doesn't care. Annabeth is Annabeth and that's enough for him. Of course, it's Bruce, so whether he'd say any of this out loud is highly debatable.

I love people seeing through him anyway xD
but yeah. Bruce has a lot of faults and shortcomings, but consistent support? He's got that, man. You don't stay in love with the same woman for ten years while seeing her once unless you're chronically incapable of giving up on people.

sd,manksdf ugh Bruce. Bruce/Betty otp tbh. but Annabeth has had a lot of Abandonment Issues with the amount of people who were supposed to support her leaving her SO PLEASE BRUCE, SHOW HER THAT YOU WON'T it's gonna throw her off. especially from an Adult.

auuuugh Bruce/Betty don't even get me started on them. Well he might leave but it'd be for her protection from him and that makes it okay, right?? But he wouldn't ever emotionally withdraw his support.
