He really respects her knowledge, and he generally likes her a lot- their personalities work well together. He is glad to have the chance to learn from her, since it makes him feel less useless. He would protect her from the possible dangers of the binding spell if he could. He doesn't think she should risk her life.

He doesn't blame her for the attack during the possession. He realized she was fighting it as much as she could, so there's no question that it wasn't her fault.
