a wild teal deer appears!

How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

but you know right now, Annabeth actually kind of likes Bruce?? She's had too many people (mostly adults) underestimate her or ignore her and since he's never once done that, it definitely left a good impression on her. Especially when he was all /hands off project, has no currs?? He treats her with respect and acknowledges her smartness and sometimes that is literally all it takes to get a plus sign.
SHE DOES WONDER WHAT'S UP WITH HIM THOUGH like wrt to the whole I should run away to the mainland it'll be safer. She's not necessarily going to pry about it yet, if only because she's worried he might take it as invitation to do the same and lol what is talking about herself.
Also he's like megasmart and Annabeth can always appreciate that, especially when he doesn't hoard it over her or try to make her feel stupid.

BUT YES he has way too much empathy for being the smart kid that no one else listened to. He'll respect her forever tbh.

There's enough of trust there for Bryn to be a kind of sororal person, and it's probably a combination of that age difference as well as just how Bryn is as a person (not that she necessarily realizes it being that so much as just respecting her as a friend). She's easygoing and comfortable for Annabeth to be around? And she doesn't push for anything. Also, her world is utterly fascinating and will be forever.
AND PEGGY well Peggy thinks Wanda is p. interesting, and she's kind of curious how their worlds might be connected, but the more important part is just Wanda herself. She's super nice and easy to talk to, despite the confusion of being on a giant turtle.

klajdklhsf Annabeth really likes Vanessa. She felt super awkward at first because HOW DO FRANDS but Vanessa's been really patient and honest and super easy to talk to, and their friendship kind of grew unexpectedly (from Annabeth's end, because again, how frandship). She's helped her a lot when it comes to a lot of the ~normal~ things, and as inconsequential it might seem, Annabeth is really grateful for it. Especially because Vanessa never called her weird for all her confusion. But she likes spending time with her (maybe she's a little more biased to the training than the shopping).
She's definitely wormed her way up there on Annabeth's list of closer allies, especially after the spectre fight because damn gurl way to prove yourself. She was pretty impressed. Even if the mortal goddess thing is still super strange okok.
FINNICK
what r u even. She finds him a little obnoxious, sob, and not even the fact that he's Percy's friend changes that. He's not coming across like any sort of awful person?? Annabeth just knows he's the type to push her buttons because he can, but not in the endearing way, so she's full of frysquint and Unimpressed.

8| all the things she's seen, and it's the mortal part that is strange?
LMAO Finnick lives to be obnoxious tbh, he's glad this is the reaction she's taken up. It's more fun when they're unimpressed. Too many people fawn over him already.

Annabeth was skeptical of Frank (and Hazel) at first, if only because ROMANS and they took Percy B( So she was definitely on her guard and wary for a while, until everyone started working together after fleeing New Rome, oops.
And then Frank was a pretty great guy, and she could entirely understand why he'd become so important to Percy (and she's even glad he had Frank as support and a friend while being all Roman). But beyond that, the fact that he sought her out with a slightly embarrassing question about the chinese handcuffs meant a lot; it was sort of an offer of trust, at least to her. Like he was willing to show he was a little unsure and know that she wouldn't belittle him for it.
She also has appreciation for his tactical skills, because seriously, what, is Mars less of a jerk than Ares, are all his kids much nicer??? She can tell he's got some insecurities by sheer nature of awesome people reading skills, but she doesn't feel like it's her place at the moment to really bring it up or w/e. One day, she might tell him it was thanks to the handcuff conversation that she was able to defeat Arachne :'D
CLARK is mostly the same for Peggy, but for Annabeth!! the thing with Eva sort of gave her a slightly different perspective - she doesn't exactly trust him, but she feels now like they're at least in the same boat and potentially on the same side. All the same, she's extra cautious around him, too.

Annabeth still finds him pretty interesting, and she knows he's friends with Percy, which kind of puts him further on her radar, oops. The whole hello-I-am-a-rock isn't the weirdest thing she's seen in her life, so if anything she's just curious about it more than weirded out. But he doesn't seem like a bad dude!!
