CR TEAL DEER MEME

How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

Bruce really likes Bucky, in a kind of distant, approving way. idk I think I've written it out pretty explicitly in his tags when it's come up, but Bruce feels at ease having someone else be paranoid and disinterested in opening up. They sort of communicate in subtle gestures (doing favors for each other, saying they don't need to owe each other anything, etc.) and Bruce is happy with that. It reads loud and clear to him, and he doesn't need it made more explicit.

This feeling of lack of pressure lead to him feeling pretty open about explaining the Hulk to him. It's nice having someone uninvolved take him completely seriously, but not be scared of him. Just understandably wary. Which is what he should be. Bucky's immediate practical acceptance is Bruce's favorite response of all he gets about the Hulk, because it's a big relief.

Although he's not showing it and is treating him completely like an adult, Bruce is slightly conscientious of how young he is, and is kind of protective. If he was in trouble then the Hulk would probably tear that shit up. :|b

Oh man now I want to see this eventually. SORT OF WANT HULK AND BUCKY CR TOO because that seems like it would be fascinating, though hard to work out how it would happen in the first place. :|a I really loved their mutual agreement not to owe each other because Bucky tends to think of a lot of things as a series of exchanges, but that kind of knocked him off that thought path into something more 'actual acquaintances maybe friends'. The lack of pressure really goes both ways and ugh Bucky appreciates that a lot, there's no 'what does he expect from me' like with people who act like they know him.

I tldred a lot in the other thread but ugh this CR was so unexpected but it's so complex and delightful.
