How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

SO BASICALLY Finnick thinks Korra is adorable. She's loud and funny, and Finnick seems to attract a certain type of person to himself. He also recognizes that she'd be a good ally to have, when shit goes down on the turtle in a big way. Even if it's not the kind of Games he's used to, he's still sort of playing that way. Allies are important to have. Right now, he finds her to be a valuable employee too. He doesn't feel bad flirting with her either :V seventeen is totally old enough for him, okok
he's such a creep sighWith more time, he'll probably start to see her as a friend and try his best to protect her however he can. Young girls are a soft spot for him.

Inara, let him tell you how beautiful he thinks you are~ In a borderline romantic sort of way. He really likes her. She's comfortable to be around and to talk to, and he definitely enjoys the perks of being a personal choice rather than a career one. More than that, he's come to really count on her quiet presence in his life. Even on the turtle, he hangs out with crazy people and all these strange events kind of drive him over the edge. It's nice to have someone in his life that's a calm influence instead of more chaos.
He basically trusts her, a lot, which isn't something that is usual for him, considering his past.

Santo, did you know that you have the honor of being Finnick's very first guy friend? So, okay, you're a giant talking rock man. That's still pretty weird. But Finnick is really glad to have a guy around that doesn't exactly relate to him completely, but is understanding enough that they get along. And also doesn't freak out with the over the top flirting. He also has it in his mind that Santo is a great ally to have in whatever coming war will be happening. He's obviously got strengths that Finnick doesn't have, and he's not here to just protect himself - he has to think of Katniss and Johanna, too.
He just didn't realize that he'd come to see Santo as an actual friend, which is totally weird for him and also makes him squishy inside. Not that it's hard, considering he has a lot of manfeelings.
Also thanks for not judging him on being a whore. And also killing little kids once upon a time. That could have been awkward.

You're way too serious, girl. But he can see why Percy is fond of her. ~fond~ He's also decided that it's just his lot in life to meet all the really grumpy and forceful women in the world, so he's honestly not surprised. That said, his initial reaction is that he does like her, and if Percy loves her, hey that's good enough for him.
Vanessa on Annabeth:
Gurl, you're so cool *u* and smart and pretty and this is starting to sound like a love letter, oops. But no, Vanessa really likes Annabeth a lot. She's a forceful personality but also pretty grounded in a way that a lot of her friends before haven't been, but that's something Vanessa appreciates in her life, especially right now. And she's really glad that they're becoming friends, because she feels like she has very few of them. She's also going to be appreciative of Annabeth's seriousness now that Catty's around, because that's a huge mess in itself.
More than that, Annabeth is someone that Vanessa admires, especially after the whole spectre fight. Like even though she was concerned with Percy, Annabeth still kept her head for the most part. She thinks that's super cool, because she'd have probably never been able to do the same thing. /chinhands

As for Finnick!! He's still a little skittish but I think he's getting to the point where he's either going to have to face his fears or be a whiny baby forever. He's sort of seen Vic around on the network, and he thinks he's a nice kid. Also Santo is Vic's friend, and if Santo trusts him, then that's a good recommendation. He also feels really guilty LOL for the way he reacted, and guilt isn't something that he's used to.

Vanessa really likes him. He's confident and cool and a huge dork, which is a plus, because the confident and cool guys that she knows are typically full of themselves. Besides, he's Annabeth's boyfriend, and she's a smart girl. That works for her. She also thinks he's a nice guy and wouldn't mind getting to know him better. And maybe will one day tell him about the whole goddess thing.
Vanessa on Catty:
She's so fucking happy that she has Catty again, it's literally the only thing that she's wanted more than going home because she's really selfish that way. Even if that means that Catty can't move on in the afterlife and find happiness, because lbr, the happiest place Catty can be is by Vanessa's side anyway. She also feels really bad for thinking bad things about Catty, and she hates how nervous Catty's new status makes her feel. Like she gets what Catty was trying to do and that's something that she admires more than anything because her best friend is so brave and did things above and beyond what they should have been asked to do. But at the same time, she just doesn't know how to feel about it. Living a lie for so long, you start to believe it.
Either way, in the end, it doesn't matter to Vanessa because she loves Catty enough to try and not make her feel bad about it and will accept her regardless.
She's also going to do whatever it takes to make sure Catty doesn't do anything dumb like that again. Stop leaving her alone.
Finnick on Katniss:
He'd die for you, girl on fire. Like no joke. He did it once, and he'd do it again, and if he came back, he would put his life on the line to protect her again. But he also admires her. He thinks that Katniss is incredible and strong, and they're birds of a feather in a way. It's not like he thinks she's a leader or anything, and he doesn't view her as a symbol of the rebellion anymore. For one, the rebellion's over, and for another, he knows her. He's one of the few friends that he has that knows him well.
He's going to be mad af about not being told about his son, though. Jesus, Katniss.
Finnick on Percy:
He thinks Percy's a good kid, like a little brother. Which makes him a little sad in a way, since I am pretty sure he had younger siblings. Of course, this younger sibling is way more powerful than him, and therefore that also makes him a good ally to have. Because lbr, that's how Finnick thinks. He charms his way into the lives of strong people and hopes he can count on them when the time comes. Although, it does go a little deeper for him than just being an ally.

Finnick on Gavroche:
There's part of him that feels a little bad that a kid his age got wrapped up in a revolution and fought, but he's also pretty used to the idea of small kids doing dangerous things and being killed. At least Gavroche chose what he did, so that's already a difference. He likes the kid and would definitely keep an eye out on him without hesitation.
Vanessa on Gavroche:
Vanessa thinks he's cute, but way too mature in some ways for his age, which kind of makes her sad actually. Kids should have the chance to be kids, and it's not like here that he's going to have all those opportunities, either. She also thinks he's pretty brave, all things considered, and it's something that she admires about him. e_e She really hopes he doesn't use his powers for stealing, though.

First off, she does think that Leo's kind of immature, but that also sort of adds to his overall cuteness factor. She finds him funny and cool to talk to, even if he tries to avoid serious things. Which she can understand. Life sucks and all. Still, she thinks that he's a sweetheart regardless and really smart and kind of really cool too. And he likes her for who she is, even knowing about her abilities, and he thinks they're cool and she's just like uguu. For the most part, it's kind of her fault that she doesn't have overall acceptance about herself, especially because she's refused to tell people back home about her, so it's a really big deal that Leo does. /chinhands
Finnick on Leo:
He just. Really loves trolling you, dude. And throwing you out for the dogs to mangle up a little bit (the dogs being Katniss). Other than that, Finnick thinks Leo is a nice guy. He hasn't had a lot of contact with kids in the past, except for the ones he's mentored, and he's seen Leo's type before. Leo reminds him a little of Beetee actually, so he knows not to underestimate people based on their looks. If Beetee could hide in a tree and electrocute people stronger than him, he's pretty sure Leo could have survived in the Games
because that's how Finnick judges people.Re: Vanessa Cleveland and Finnick Odair

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Vanessa thinks she's so cute! And really nice, and really strong as a person too, especially with the whole 'I'll tell any monsters off that act badly' because not everyone is going to decide to go toe-to-toe with someone acting like a dick. There's still that little bit of weirdness on the whole vampire differences, but honestly, she prefers that Mavis eats bugs as opposed to wanting to chomp on necks. That sounds infinitely better. She also has that whole protective older sister thing going on with regards to Mavis. There's something about her that seems so innocent and hopeful, and that's exactly the sort of thing that Vanessa wants to keep safe, especially with the way things are going on the turtle.
Vanessa on Ororo:
Vanessa's had very little older female influence in her life, other than her mother and her mentor, Maggie. And well, her mother has no clue about her, and her mentor was kind of a huge disappointment. There's also Selene, but goddesses are rarely all that helpful, in Vanessa's opinion. So she's a little wary in general about adults, but she also thinks that Ororo is cool. And it's really nice to have that confidence boost, and to know that, even if Ororo doesn't really know her all that well, that someone cares about what happens to her. Especially in the context of her abilities and whether someone will call her a freak or not, considering that's been one of Vanessa's major issues for like the last twelve years of her life. She's someone that Vanessa could look up to.
Finnick on Ororo:
He really likes her. He thinks she's a strong woman, and she's definitely beautiful, and he finds her funny. These are all things that he likes in women that he likes to associate with. He'd like to get to know her a little better, not only because she'd make a great ally, but he just genuinely likes the kind of person she is. He feels bad about the whole possession thing as well, especially because she found him like that. He doesn't really want to come off as weak and someone who needs to be protected. That's one of his biggest things, because he wants his allies to feel comfortable on relying on him as well.
He would also so totally not be against sex.
