They have a connection. No, really. IT WEIRDS TONY OUT. Bruce is someone that he started out with trying to draw out of his shell and make cool with the whole RAGE IN THE MACHINE angle, but red alert! Bruce dropped the F-bomb on him and he's just reeling over that. Still. Rhodey and Happy have both been dealing with Tony long enough that they don't even bother with feelings like that. He loves Pepper and that's really the closest thing to "emotion" that Tony Stark is supposed to have. And then here comes Bruce. Science bro. Telling him thanks and being his friend and it's just WEIRD y'know?

Tony doesn't disagree with the assessment, WHICH IS WEIRDER. He's okay with this. He likes having a science bro that's there for him and. Welp. He'll be there for him. If he needs it. Shut up and eat your blueberries.

By now he actually feels pretty solid in their friendship, which is really weird to him, too. Like super weird. But he likes it and it seems unthreatening, so. Yes all of the mutual helping and blueberries. And saving Tony from crashing into too many things next week.
