A few weeks, give or take. I heard some guys have been here for months, which uh-- probably isn't the most reassuring thing to hear. It's not so bad so far, despite it all.

Considering none of them seem to be going crazy, it's better than nothing.

[Oh. Uh.] Define that. There's plenty of things you can do, but you're probably asking for something more specific, right?

Superhero and entertainment-wise?

I told you about your fellow Titans, and uh-- well, there's always window-shopping? I'm more interested in the bookstores than the rest of the shops, so I can't help much there. They've got a lot of nice looking art here though. Very unique to the culture.

So we fight crime here too. Got it. [Eddie glances at the first window they pass and his head tilts to the side.] Sounds like I'll be doing a lot of crime fighting then...

I wouldn't say fight crime so much as we end up fighting something here, and last I checked they're more alien than criminal.

So we're fighting an alien? Is it just one or a whole invasion fleet?

One spaceship and a truckload of bodyjumpers, actually. Took too long to get all of them out of people, that's for sure.

[And a shudder at bodyjumpers.] How'd you get them out?

Zapping people, unfortunately. I had to be really careful about not using too much energy or else I might fry something.

I'm glad I missed that. I don't do well with zapping or being friend.

Luckily enough. The threat seems to be gone too, or maybe in hiding. I haven't heard a peep out of them since that incident though.

I hope they stay gone. Unless fire hurt them too, then I'm fine with them showing up to get fried.

They hurt them in the same way most people get hurt by it. They take over the body almost immediately, so the only way to get rid of them is to drive them out first.

Really glad I missed it since I'm pretty sure I'd end up possessed and coming after everyone now.

You could try, but aside from the kedan, you gotta deal with a bunch of other superheroes.

You don't think I'd be dangerous to the other heroes?

Oh, I think you could be. Everyone can be, but it's all a matter of thinking of the best strategy.

Then we just have to hope the ghost things aren't good at strategy.

They aren't. [Wasn't that helpful?] But they have the ability to control any type of person. They kind of go crazy using the powers instead.

You can cast spells to put out fires, right?

Can't be much of a magician if I don't know the basics, right? I can make it rain if it occurs.

Great. If I get possessed by evil spirits, you have full permission to kick my backside. I'd let Jaime do it but he's got laser cannons and sonic death beams and stuff.

So compared to Jaime, I'm lesser of the two evils? I feel like I should take offense to this. [She is teasing, of course, but thread lightly anyway.]
