[She starts rolling up the sleeves to her shirt, revealing the patchwork skin of her arms. She tugs at the neck a little too, showing the extent of the scarring] The Quell was months ago. The Capitol's been overthrown. No one in this place cares what any of us are wearing. [Katniss: 9865637. Tact and Subtlety: 0]

[ She patted the girl's shoulder supportively. She knew that Katniss made an effort to be more pleasant, but really she didn't need to try so hard. The scars and marks on her arms were likely just a prank of the makeup team, who she knew could take their jobs a little too lightly at times. ]

Wash that muck off and we'll find a place to stay while we wait for the others, its important to look presentable no matter where you are.
