TEST DRIVE

Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.
How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:
- Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
- Tag around with everyone!
- Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
But wait, there's more! For the low, low price of $9,999.99, you can even use one of our handy prompts when you tag someone. You could even pick one with a Random Number Generator to help decide which prompt to go with!
- A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace. - Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell! - Hey, I Just Met You, and This is Crazy...
First impressions are always the most important, right? - WILDCARD!
Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

Jason was rather fond of his rooftop sojourn through the city, and his little stalker wasn't going to go unnoticed. Jason had no clue about who it was exactly; but he figure they'd make themselves obvious sooner or later. ]

[But only because the Robin outfit was not designed for long concealment. A wisp of the wind, and the yellow cape would catch a glint-off from the shell glow, muted as it was, now.]
[Not a sound, though.]

If you're thinking of beating me with a crowbar again, kid... [ A moment's hesitation. ] I'll toss you off this building. [ Not that it would do much. ]

If you're thinking about shooting me again, Red Hood, I might go looking for a crowbar.
[When in confusion, attack. That was how it worked, wasn't it?]

That was enough to make him turn and find himself face to face with a ghost. As if he was one to talk. ]
What the hell is that supposed to mean? I never shot you. [ A finger pointed at the boy. ] Not that the thought hasn't tempted me.

And the only person I've beaten with a crowbar since coming to Gotham - going to Gotham, I suppose - was the Joker. Not that it's not tempting, now that you mention it.
[He got the stupid shots in the spine because of Todd, after all.]
[Arms crossed, Damian glared from behind the mask.]
That probably means, in this place, that we come from different versions of reality. Alternate universes.
[Quite on purpose, Damian spoke slowly and articulately. As if to somebody slow.]

And it didn't go unnoticed that the brat was being purposely slow with him. ]
Great. So you're telling me there's some messed up reality out there where I've shot a kid. [ He'd like to call "bullshit," but this was Damian. Stuck up little brat that he was, he didn't think the kid had reasons to lie about that kind of a mess. ]
Guess that means back home... [ He had started to mutter, but then caught himself. ]

You were trying to make Grayson do something. I am assuming--
[Paaause.]
... if he did not become Batman, how do you know me as Robin?

So, when he blinks his eyes open from his nap and spots a pair of boots walking by that he's been kicked by plenty of times, that Roy does a weird kind of flail-spaz and grabs at said boots. ]
Jaybird! [ Hello welcome to Keeliai here is your complimentary zombie-Roy. ]

He simply gritted his teeth and shut his eyes. Here he was looking to a moment's peace.
When his eyes opened once more, he was looking down to see one very special archer. ]
This must be halfway to hell, if we're somewhere between life and death.

[ Said with a dorky grin because honestly, he is ecstatic to see him here. He'd felt so completely alone here, so out of place, and the outlaws had become like a family to him. No one knew him or he wasn't the version of him they were looking for and it had been one inferiority complex after the other.
Honestly, he'd needed Jason Todd or Kori to show up and slap him upside the head for weeks. Roy pushes himself up and adjusts his hat as he stands, grinning doltishly at his friend. ]
You will not believe the absolute Twilight Zone shit going on in this place, man.
