[A black jacket over a dark green sweatshirt. A pair of jeans from over five years ago that still fit him remarkably well. They're unobtrusive, hard to pick out in a crowd, and frankly Barry prefers it that way. He's not sure where he is (but really, a city on the back of a turtle sounds like something straight out of a science fiction novel) or who exactly is surrounding him but he does know that the last thing he wants is to be wearing a sad red-and-gold excuse for a 'LOOK AT ME' sign.

Hence, his relief in having the clothes he has right now.

For a guy who's supposedly the fastest man alive though, he's sure moving pretty slow. With his hands tucked into his jacket pockets and the faint breeze riffling at his short blond hair, he's allowing himself to leisurely stroll through the marketplace—for the time being, at least.

SCREAM.... HI.

[ Just another day of wandering around the city and trying to avoid the crazy kedan, who have taken to blaming the refugees for the state of the turtle. He probably shouldn't be running around like this, with the rationing in effect, but someone's been sneaking him extra and it's had him feeling way more energetic than he has in the last couple of months.

Thankfully, though, there was a good sight to stop him. Blond hair- that build- he'd recognize that. How could he not recognize his mentor? His hero, of all people?

The problem? Decelerating. Wally did not give himself enough time and Barry would probably be hearing a screaming ginger as he came sliding the man's way head-on! ]

Uncle Barry- watch out!

SCREAM HELLO

[He hasn't heard the phrase in what seems like forever, but it's ingrained into him and tied to a whole host of reflexes, the first and foremost of which is to snap his head around to the source of the utterance.

The second to dart the heck out of the way and take whoever happens to be nearby with him (because really, he of all people knows the harm a fast-moving object can have on the human body).]

—Wally?

[The male blurring past him is shorter, less stocky, and years younger than he remembers, but he'd know that outfit anywhere.]

[ At least it was a good thing that Barry got out of the way. And amazingly, now that Wally didn't have to worry about crashing into people, he could manage a not-so-graceful skid-and-skip stop, arms flailing about in circles in the process. Making sure his heart was back to the right beat, the ginger-haired teen turned around to make sure he hadn't been hallucinating.

He stared, and in a second, his eyes went wide with joy. The younger speedster dashed toward the blond and threw his arms about the man, squeezing him tight. ]

You're here! On the turtle! Here- It's you! [ Babbling much? ]

[diedasaint]

[—Uhh.

This is. Maybe unexpected would be the wrong word but sudden, definitely. And even though Barry's only tense for a moment, it feels like an eternity. He's confused about so many things, least of all this turtle business.]

I'm definitely on a turtle.

[But more importantly, what's going on with Wally?]

Did something happen to you? You're back to being a kid. [It's been too long since Wally's used the 'uncle' prefix.] Where're Linda and Irey and Jai?

[sciencewhizard]

...

[ ...

Oh no. It's happened enough times in his time here for him to realize what that might mean. He drew back from the blond just enough to give him this grimace, and not too long after that, his arms dropped away. Now that he kind of looked at Barry... he was a little bit older than Wally last remembered.

Sigh... ]

I'm not back to being anything. I've always been this way- [ Er- ] I mean- you're probably from my future or some kind of parallel universe. I don't know any Linda, Irey, or Ja- Wait, Jay Garrick?

[diedasaint]

No, Jai, your—

[And then cognition catches up to autopilot and Barry comes stuttering to a halt. If he's at all guessing this kid's age right, he's nowhere near old enough to be married or having kids. And likely, he probably don't wanna know.

With a faint wince, he backtracks.]

—Uh, never mind.

[Smooth, Allen. But Barry takes a step back, scrutinizes this Wally a little longer.]

Sorry though. For not being who you thought I was. [In a way. And then, because he really just has to make sure:] Your name is Wally West, right?

[sciencewhizard]

[ Arched brow. "Jai, your-" what? Something to file away for later and maybe bug Kyle about if he got the chance. Assuming Barry was from his universe too.

The speedster snorted softly at the question and gave the blond a very proud smirk. ]

Is there any other? [ Well, now that he thought about. ]

Don't answer that. [ He waved his hands once just to prevent any response to that for sure. Calming down just a bit, he gave Barry another look-over and shrugged. ] Hey, any version of you's better than no version, right?

[diedasaint]

Just one where I come from. [Too bad, he's answering anyway.] And the same goes to you.

[Because Barry is happy, despite his initial reaction to the contrary. Apart from Iris and Jay, Wally's pretty much the most important person in his life.]

You been here long then? You looked like you knew where you were going—well, before you spotted me.

[Said with rueful smile.]

[ For a second, the speedster's face flushed and he grinned bashfully, but it disappeared as he nodded. ]

Yeah- couple of months this time. My friends say I was actually here before- but I can't remember it. [ He reaches out and nudges at the blond's side. ] Lot of weird stuff going on here with time.
