[Percy is just kind of wandering aimlessly through the marketplace, because let's face it, it's not like there's a whole lot else for him to do right now. He's feeling kind of...well, despondent is probably the right word, but he's going to call it 'crappy' because that sounds less dramatic.

And then he spots a familiar looking baby-face. For a second he thinks he has to be hallucination, but after a couple of seconds standing there gaping like an idiot doesn't reveal the newcomer to be an illusion, a wide smile breaks across his face] Holy - Frank!?

[iguanasolution]

Percy?

[You can see the relief in Frank's eyes as soon as he turns his gaze towards the voice. Waking up and almost drowning hadn't been nice at all, just because he was a descendant on Poseidon it didn't mean he liked water when were people going to get that?

Waking up and being completely alone, on his own? Had been even worse.] I'm so glad to see you, you have no idea. Where are we? Can we leave?

[MAN HUG TIME! Percy doesn't quite throw himself at Frank, but it's a near thing. He laughs in obvious relief] Man, I've got some idea.

[He pauses for a second, terminating the manhug] Uh...okay, this is going to sound insane - like, more than usual - but we're on the back of a turtle. And so far...no, we can't leave. I've been here like, two months, and Annabeth was here for six months before that by herself.

[Oh okay an armful of Percy all of a sudden. Not that Mark minds, and he actually hugs him back rather effusively- until he starts explaning the whole deal to him.]

...I- what? What do you mean we can't leave? We had a mission. We'll find out our way out eventually, right?

[Doo doo doo walking around the marketplace when all of a sudden THERE IS A FRANK.

Okay, so Frank really isn't that bad of a dude, okay? And maybe Leo's getting a bit tired of walking in on Percy and Annabeth making out. Someone else from their world who didn't make out with their girlfriend every ten seconds or so would have been great to have with him. But that's not a cool thing to wish for, obviously; I mean, he wouldn't want the others to be trapped on top of a giant turtle along with them, so maybe that was kind of selfish of him—

Anyway. Yes. There is a Frank. I mean, he could have gone for Jason, or Piper, (or Hazel especially, but he quickly forces that thought out of his mind) but Frank is okay; he's become a sort of family too, he guesses. Not that he likes him much, just so everyone's clear on this.]

Frank! Is that really you, man?

[Oh, wait. That sounded too cheerful and hopeful, didn't it? He quickly clears his throat and puts on his best I-don't-give-a-crap expression.]

Er, I mean: Oh. Frank Zhang. Took you a while to get here.

[iguanasolution]

Leo?!

[Alright, so Frank is lost. Lost and alone in a place he doesn't recognize and surrounded by blue people. Not that he judges people by their looks (hard to do that when you're a shape-shifter) but still, he would appreciate everyone looking at least a little bit more familiar.

And then he hears Leo's voice.

The first impression he got from the guy was him blowing up his camp and getting all the Romans against them when they were in a race against time. He found out later it wasn't really him and honestly, he's been trying to like the guy ever since but when he's not 'making googly eyes' towards his girlfriend he's managing to have everyone laugh at Frank and dissing Romans.

And maybe, maybe the fact that he actually understood what losing his mother meant, that he was honest about what had been going on between him and Hazel and that he saved both Frank and Hazel's lives from the Eidolons made him an actual cool guy in Frank's eyes but that didn't mean he was going to start liking him all of a sudden.

So his relief at hearing his voice only lasts a second, at the most.]

Uh, hi. I don't even know what 'here' is, let alone knowing I was supposed to get here at all. You'll have to explain yourself.

[Yeeep, that's Frank alright. He really doesn't know whether he should feel irritated or kind of relieved that the guy isn't like some hallucination or whatever. (He's been inhaling too much metal polish while working on the hoverboard, okay; he has an excuse.)

Eventually he decides to roll his eyes.]

Seriously, Frank, did you even listen to those kedans, or is "Welcome, you're on the back of a giant turtle!" a little too complicated for your Roman brain?

[The tone of his voice isn't in any way harsh or condescending, however; in fact, it could almost be interpreted as good-natured teasing. Almost, because this is still Frank, after all.]

[Frank's whole face tightens at the insult. He had only been on the Legion for months before Mars decided to send them on a quest and things started getting real but the Roman pride is still strong inside of him.

But he knows Leo's just being Leo and he doesn't actually mean it, so he is quick to relax again. Getting into a fight with the one familiar person in this place wouldn't do.]

Yes, I got that part. I thought they were joking but okay, yeah I'll bite and assume it's true. What are we supposed to do in here then? Fight some Cyclops? And where are all the others?
