oh hello game! my name is doc, and i offer you all some old guy (thus raising the average age of the turtleboat by roughly eighty gazillion) from this series called wakfu. i'm basically twelve years old and enjoy cartoons for little french children way too much, so there you go.
qilby's the king of this long-lost race of people called eliatropes! you can tell an eliatrope by a) their ability to conjure up portals or b) their superb hats. he possesses both in spades.
besides that, he's kind and polite, scientifically inclined, and has got +9 skill in exposition. ask him, and he'll tell you all about his awesome sister who's a dragon. or he'll just talk about flowers or something else equally riveting. he's somewhat-recently been reintroduced to the world after having been off in another dimension for a good ten thousand years or so, so having a surprise vacation to another world full of fresh new faces is a little thrilling to say the least.
he'll be hanging out in the fire sector with the rest of the cool kids at FI-3C! and if you want to get in contact with me to plot or anything, totally add me on plurk at
drnolicense or just drop me a pm! cheers!

hi doc, i'm new too! my name is hiccup and i'm playing the mother of dragons here
no subject
hello hiccup, good to meet you! yessssss, dany-- looks like the game's got the mother and brother of dragons all in one go. if only everyone else could be as rad as them!

I'm Roy, I play Batman here, as well as a few other characters (Spencer Reid, Aisha al-Fadhil, Brandon Sharpe, from Criminal Minds, The Losers and Marvel 616 respectively) and I know absolutely nothing about Wakfu (my first question was 'sports anime???') but your character seems pretty rad!
I hope you enjoy the game and feel free to toss any questions/etc you have my way. <3

i played a lot from DC myself, so it's pretty exciting to see the most elusive major character in comics RP lurking around. thanks for the welcome, and i look forward to play with you!

Whoo, DC fan! It's my home fandom, I can't lie. :c
no subject
yeah, i played scarecrow for a while, but my heart lies with dr. thirteen. :') i've got a thing for jerk paranormal investigators and the magic lamers they always seem to have to hang around with.
and ngl i was considering ra's here but i had a canon review to do first so... decided it was best to stick with what i know!

Scarecrow is awesome and I think probably one of the easier Rogues to play long-term in a game because of sheer plot potential surrounding his character. I'd love to see a Crane from... crap, was it Blackest Night where he had a Sinestro Corps ring? omg I don't actually remember. WORST FAN.
And omg Ra's. I definitely understand the canon review being daunting on that one. :< THAT SAID I would absolutely love to have a Ra's if you were ever so inclined. :3

and yeah, i loved playing crane! i almost literally had people throwing themselves at me because they wanted their characters to get terrorized, hahaha. i knew someone who played him post-blackest night but i can't remember if that was after luthor had already stolen his ring from him or not... i was a little disappointed how quickly that ended, since it would have been rad to see him as a GL villain for a little while! but if you're reading any new-52 stuff, it looks like he's going to play a large role against the JLA very soon here. :Ia
i love ra's and his stupid facial hair and awful family drama. :'( and yeah, it's not even how many issues he's appeared in, but he's just been around in the universe for so long... if i get the temptation to pick up a second villain though, he's on the top of my list!
no subject
Oh my god, Crane as a GL villain. I NEVER REALIZED HOW MUCH I WANTED THAT UNTIL JUST THIS SECOND. Shrieeek.
I haven't been following the 52 for a variety of reasons but this also intrigues me. :|a How's the JLA stuff been so far?
God yeah, I definitely understand. Not that they're ever particularly clear on how long Ra's has been around. (Centuries? Millennia? WHO KNOWS. Certainly not the DC editorial team! I think sometimes they get him confused with Savage)

and i work at a comic shop, so 50% of my job is to follow everything ever, haha! JLA's only two issues in so far, but the second one had some funny moments... it's kind of set up as a second suicide squad for amanda waller, but made up of "heroes" who don't answer to any other group (and who won't die if they don't do what she says.) it's pretty clear there's going to be a JL vs. JLA clash sometime in the future.
52's got its really low points, but i hold that the stuff that's good is the stuff that didn't change all too radically after the reboot. all star western, for example, is one i look forward to each month, and that's because gray and palmiotti have basically been writing jonah hex since forever.
AHAHA, no you must be thinking of some OTHER guy with super crazy hair who's practically immortal and who has some hot daughter who's always defying him...

wakfu lends itself well to gifsets because it's colorful and happy-looking and 80% of the time there's something adorable going on. but yeah, it's not all too well-known so i'm not surprised!

the art style and animation is gorgeous! negl, it gives me bouncing thighs vibes.

i'd be lying if i said some of the designs weren't fanservice-y (all the women are cute and have big hips) but i love literally all the characters. the story can take some surprisingly dark and tragic twists too. if you ever get some time and want to watch it, i can give you links to downloads or a youtube channel!
no subject
my (admittedly) few canons of choice all have their own gratuitous amounts of fanservice, unfortunately. though i will say, i'm always open to setting aside more shows for future use, so i wouldn't mind a link or two!

Also hey it's Li. :D And I play this icebrat.

i still have yet to see rotg, because i guess i'm some sort of hermit that doesn't know what movie theatres are! all the art i've ever seen looks adorable though!

hey farrah, nice to meet you! is this like, a live action dorian gray or something, because i had no idea such a thing existed and that's kind of great. :o
no subject
An audioplay Dorian Gray, actually! It basically goes, "What if the story was based on a real person! and that person didn't die! Immortal hedonist hijinks throughout history!!!"

Awww! Then when I can brain probably, I'll toss Damian over. Because he's complicated. And you're welcome!
