Hello, everyone! Another newbie to the game for you. My name is Rylie and I know I've RPed with a handful of you before at other places so hello again, lol XP I'm bringing in Jake English from Homestuck. I haven't been playing him for very long, only about a month or so, so please forgive me if I'm still working at getting a good grip on him. I will try my best to do him justice!
Jake's a 16 year old boy who grew up, for the most part, on his own on a small island full of monsters so he's probably going to be fairly anxious when he's suddenly thrust into full blown civilization for the first time ever. Still, he's a very friendly guy and is pretty easy to get along with, even though he's really dense and clueless and common sense? What's common sense?
He loves adventure and is OBSESSED with movies. There is no such thing as a bad movie, in his opinion, even if it's a terribly shitty movie. He's also pretty up to date on modern media so let me know your thoughts on fourth walling! I'll always ask anyway if I feel he would know who someone is and for the most part, I personally prefer to just go along the inwardly thinking 'hey, this person sounds a lot like this character from this movie I saw, huh, how weird is that?' route instead of just outright directly going 'OH MY GOD YOU'RE SO-AND-SO FROM THIS MOVIE!!!'

I'm Laura and I have Ariadne from Inception here. I admit that I don't know much about Homestuck except for what I have come across in games, BUT I'm extremely excited to poke Jake with Ariadne - she needs people to challenge her. :)
