Hello, chelonauts! This marks the start of our six-week interval for CR With Me memes!

As usual, when plotting out any CR potential, please be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should go for coffee next week' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

Mind that the form is still a bit different, including the two recently added sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also added a bit for plotting regarding the upcoming Decay of Tu Vishan event and longterm impact (rationing).

A reminder that the main portion of the Decay event will kick off March 19th, but there will be longterm effects felt all over Keeliai -- so feel free to plot into the future!

CHARACTER: Haytham Kenway
CANON: Assassins Creed III
PERSONALITY: somewhat amoral, sassy, impatient old guy who cares about family and Templars, but a Templars a little more than he does family. Can be smooth, can be abrasive, and almost always sarcastic. Doesn't like taking no as an answer.
CURRENT STATUS: So far? Not much besides being rather irritable and spying on everyone from the rooftops. I think I need to get him more involved... when I get back.
CR GOALS: more people to argue with. a deepening of his current CR, maybe his CR discovering he's kind of a zealot (and not the cool SCII kind)
SCENE-DOS: everything, although I struggle with kind of casual 'man the weather is lovely today isn't it?' conversation, mostly because I don't see him as the type that would indulge it in without a reason.
SCENE-DON'TS: nothing I can think of
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Being rather grumpy and tired of dealing with shit, he'll be rather annoyed at the rationing and intrigued by the decay. He'll probably try to figure out what the hell is happening, although he'll do it less with the livelihood of Tu Vishan and more for his own benefit.

OH!! I'm really sorry to anyone I dropped the ball on at the previous CR meme or his intro; I tend to go into hermit mode and get really antsy at answering tags after a certain date. If you don't mind me being a complete jerk previously, I'd love to pick up CR once I get back from PAX.

I was going to hit up Iorveth's exploration post, but then kinda got sidetracked by life but I'll definitely jump into that if it isn't too late! Expect it soon.

They're probably be the only people on turtleback that understand this. They can dinner gripe sessions where they complain about how no one seems to understand this

hi so I still think Haytham and Reno should be bros

and by 'bros' I mean Reno will probably be lukewarm on Haytham's ideals but tbh it's pretty much the same as the people he works for in canon (even moreso like... 30 minutes later in the game shhh) so Reno would be super wary but also like "this is a guy I can understand and therefore feel comfortable sharing info with"

basically he'd be like Hickey but with more baths and less overt awfulness, is what I'm saying

Haytham is a very simple guy who really only believes his way is right and the rest of the world is kind of stupid. But really yeah, it should happen! I'll be on the lookout for any opportunities for them to meet once I Get back from PAX.

Well as long as he doesn't start his own counterfeiting ring he's already better than Hickey
