Holy Nippy Blizzards, Turtleites!

This weekend, Jack will be laying a blanket of snow down on Keeliai that will last from March 8-11th. He thinks that it's been pretty mild all this season and with it being almost spring, he feels it's his Winterly Duty to make sure the city gets a good coating before it really starts warming up.

But regular snow drifts are boring, so he will going a little ice-happy and creating all sorts of awesome things for people to enjoy. I'll put up a collective log on the 8th for the event that'll have lots of description and where people can mingle!

The other thing that will be special about the snow is that it will be laced with Jack's special winter magic IE; snow glitter. Basically it helps people forget their "adult" inhibitions and want to have fun like kids again. There's a very low level of it in all the snow so that you can choose whether or not you want to have your character affected by it, but ICly the more people interact with the snow (playing in it, shoveling, having some fall on their head, whatever) the harder the effect will be to ignore.

• Snowball fight, a huge one with multiple forts and unlimited ammunition

Mavis is going to spend the nights diving through the snow and into snowbanks in both bat and vampire form. I'll probably toss up an open thread for her because of the nighttime restriction, but totally up for plotting. 8D

Ororo's available if anyone wants to try and find the heat. She could try and break the weather for a block or two of Keeliai, though there's no way she's taking on the whole of Keeliai kthxbai. She also enjoys snowball fights, so watch out.

Ava's Tiger Amulet comes complete with a Tiger Spirit. One that requires a lot of willpower to control, which is not a great mix with inner child shenanigans. Normally this would mean tearing things up and generally causing all kinds of problems, but since it's only loosening her control a bit and the snow will be placating the Tiger, the Turtle will instead get a very silly, very playful Ava who will be much cuddlier, jumpier and generally more catlike than usual.

Anybody up for some silliness there?

Victor's not the biggest fan of snow but he'll come out for a little while even if he spends most of that time out in warm zones created by Ororo.

So, yeah, Santo will be all over this, since he's basically a big dumb kid already. He won't be getting to active in the fighting for once, since rocks in snowballs is always a terrible idea. He'll be rolling around, making snowmen, deformed snow angels, making snow cones, etc.!

Bunny won't be amused at all... At least not until he gets hit with Jack's magic. Then it's on, and he's all over the snowball fight. Someone needs to tell him a tactical snowstrike again Mr. Frost is a terrible idea.
