Event | Sinbrilee | Artifact Results!
Greetings, salutations, and treasures for all! Specifically, we're here to announce the results from the Sinbrilee artifact sign-up, featuring such wonderful discoveries as weapons, money, artifacts, or turtle eggs! Read on to discover details as to which characters shall be fortunate to uncover which findings.
Money
Although the City of Sinbrilee did not use juulan as its primary currency, many kedan collectors will be happy to take the old coins (that resemble Roman Denariuses) off the hands of any character that returns with them. One single silver coin can net a character ten juulan! These coins show the signs of immense wear, suggesting that the coins frequently changed hands in a vibrant economy. Some bear rudimentary scratches and a few burn marks from tests made to ensure that they were genuine way back in the day, while others have been punched through the center and strung through a tarnished silver chain comprised of very fine, but strong, links.
The characters that will discover these coins (and the amount that they will discover) are as follows:
Weapons
Weapons can be found in the ruins of Sinbrilee the likes of which are varied and strange at once. These weapons are unique in that anything with a blade never dulls or needs to be sharpened, and the blades can be lit on fire hot enough to cut through nearly anything. In order to achieve this flaming technique, the blades must be baptized in the flames of the Fire Sector. Modern weapons do not jam, and although they do run out of ammunition, it seems to take much longer than magazine size would suggest.
The characters that will discover weapons are:
Please note that you can create aesthetic qualities for these weapons as desired; the list is to provide the nature of weapon that the character will find, not the exact details of it.
Artifacts
Rare and magnificent, these artifacts are from forgotten ages and forgotten places. They function through magic and inspire wonder and ten lucky explorers will return turtleside with one in their possession.
The characters that will find artifacts and the nature of said artifacts are as follows:
And last, but certainly not least, the moment that you've all been waiting for... The composition of the eggsitting teams!
Turtle Eggs
When turtles lay eggs, they can lay more than two hundred. These eggs are abandoned, and the baby turtles will eventually learn to fend for themselves. Sinbrilee was the caretaker of a clutch of seventy. These eggs were hidden across the city by her faithful citizens before they escaped from her as she sank, and have spent several hundred years beneath the ocean. Sustained by magic, these eggs are now nearly ready to hatch! There are fifteen viable eggs to be found, the rest having been destroyed over time.
Each egg is roughly the size of Hagrid of Harry Potter fame, and as they enter the final stage of their eggy life, they will need nearly constant, around-the-clock supervision. This means that every egg requires three caretakers and will 'resonate' when they are near their caretaker and the caretaker will feel compelled to seek it out. When they are near, the shell will become luminous and a peaceful feeling will come over those characters specifically chosen by their turtle.
The caretakers of the eggs are as follows:
That concludes the Sinbrilee-specific artifacts! There will be a separate post going up in a short while compiling all the official item requests that can be found separate to these items. Feel free to use the comments of this post for plotting, but we ask that you refer to our initial questions thread for any clarifications needed. 8D

Jason Bourne | M40A3 sniper rifle
Jason Todd | Bazooka

John Colby | Rocket launcher
Mark Hoffman | Shotgun
Please note that you can create aesthetic qualities for these weapons as desired; the list is to provide the nature of weapon that the character will find, not the exact details of it.
Artifacts
Rare and magnificent, these artifacts are from forgotten ages and forgotten places. They function through magic and inspire wonder and ten lucky explorers will return turtleside with one in their possession.
The characters that will find artifacts and the nature of said artifacts are as follows:
Alcuin | Sapling
A sapling grown from Sinbrilee's tree of life. If planted and properly cared for and nurtured, this tree will bear small nuts. When cracked open, these nuts will reveal tiny, perfectly-formed scrolls that reveal information about the history of Konryu. (The tree will mature in three months, and from that point henceforth there will be three harvestable nuts every month.)
Jehan | Panpipes
A set of panpipes that can play whatever music the individual is thinking of regardless of how many instruments the composition requires. It can also remember any composition it's played, and play unaided or assisted. The volume is fully adjustable, and these mysterious panpipes will always find their way back to their user no matter if they've been dropped, damaged or discarded. Legend has it there's a faun's spirit trapped within them...
Stiles | Wristbands
Hermes wristbands! Fit for any superhero or superhero wannabe, these wristbands (in fashionable and supple golden leather cuffs about two inches wide) will allow their wearer to fly, and how! The individual wearing them can go (and survive) roughly at half the speed of sound. The downside... well, if you take them off, they will feel particularly slighted and will never work for that user again. But seriously, who wouldn't want to fly?
Bryn | Golem
This creature has a lynx-like appearance and is made entirely of smooth, white marble. It will obey the commands of the person it bonds with – it will fetch, roll over, play dead. It can even fight, and though it will take damage as stone tends to, it doesn't seem to register pain. It can't speak, but it's still a noteworthy companion. It will also purr if stroked, though the purring sounds rather like (loud) marbles being rolled together. Roughly the size of a pony, in its former life it was the guardian of one of Sinbrilee's great libraries, until some yahoo brought it to life. Aren't you lucky it doesn't need to eat!
Zelgadis | Orrery
It's a perfect working mechanical model of the solar system in which Konryu resides. The difference is, it's a wonder of Sinbrileean mechanics – it's literally a globe the size of a small Christmas ornament. It's faintly warm, cannot be broken, and keeps perfect track of the cycles of the sun and moon and planets in the system. (Of which there are fourteen, Konryu is the fifth from the sun, which is nearly ten times that of the Earth's own sun)
Docter "Bones" McCoy | Coffee Pot
A coffee pot that never runs out of coffee. It's the richest, darkest, most beautiful tasting coffee you've ever tasted. One sip can keep someone up and running for hours without sleep. Cutting it with milk will offend the ethereal coffee pot and the next cup will taste of engine oil; sweetening it with sugar, however, is considered acceptable. Enhancing it with alcohol seems to amuse it and the coffee pot will proceed to hiccup merrily while the enhanced coffee is consumed.
Michaelangelo | Grapesof Invulnerability +10
A cluster of grapes, the eating of which will grant temporary invincibility (one grape will grant 24 hours of invincibility, the cluster contains nine grapes). These grapes don't come with a manual, and they are remarkably tasty. (Effects do not stack. Eating two grapes still only gives an individual 24 hours of invincibility)
Cinna | The Black Pearl(no, not that one)
A black pearl that grants the user the ability to sense and disrupt magic (cannot cast magic of their own). This pearl will attenuate to one person, cannot change hands or be used by anyone else. The area of effect is a basic five feet in any direction, but it can be expanded to fifteen feet with great will and effort. Such an effort will render the pearl matte grey for a period of three days as it re-equalises with the magic of its surroundings.
Qilby |Mary PoppinsBag
A bag of holding +10! This bag can store nearly anything, up to and including the kitchen sink, and never seems to be heavier than empty cloth. Rummaging around in it may discover a handsome set of D&D dice and a rock-hard piece of bread, but it appears the former owner emptied it of all other items before giving it up.
John Colby | Genie
A very linguistic genie in an old tire (the tire must be rubbed) who will only accept wishes written in the language of its choice (which changes on a daily basis). Failure to meet its random language selection will result in a loud buzzing noise and the genie disappearing in a puff of smoke until next summoning. It is possible to play a game of twenty-questions with the genie to determine the identity of the day's language requirement. Wishes must be mod approved.
This means that every egg requires three caretakers and will 'resonate' when they are near their caretaker and the caretaker will feel compelled to seek it out.
