My name's Star, and I'll be bringing in one Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who as my first character in Tu Shanshu. :)
For those who aren't familiar, Jack is a time traveler and a former con-man who turned against a former employer for leaving two years of his memory a giant question-mark. Most recently he's been travelling with a time-travelling do-gooder called the Doctor and his companion Rose Tyler. They've been positive influences on him - of the 'he's pulled the self-sacrificial hero roll twice since meeting them' type. He was saved the first time, but the second... He was brought back as a fixed point in time, and can no longer stay dead. (Not that he knows this yet.) Those who can sense time or things like that, you may find he feels kind of wrong.
Jack is a massive flirt, and more than willing to go through with things. (Though his mun would prefer to fade to black.) He's from the 51st Century, and has some ramped up pheromones because of this that generally make him more attractive. Feel free to opt in or out to those on his permissions page, they're just a natural thing for him. Likewise, if flirting itself is a hard no please give me a heads up. He's not going to, obviously, flirt with kids.
To those who are in the know: I'm bringing him from right after Parting of the Ways. That means no Torchwood. I just felt it might be an interesting way to mix it up a bit.

This is Aly Haskell, she is basically the protagonist of a magical girl anime but with lots of murder also. (Nobody talk about Madoka. I haven't seen Madoka. But I get the feeling it's kind of like that.) She's a pyrokinetic high school junior with a smart mouth who doesn't have a good time around faeries, and she walks between worlds in her spare time. And once in the middle of a trig test. She's apprenticed to a giant wolf who she will just be calling "sensei" when she talks about him, and she will....not be giving out her real name at first! Say hi to Keahi Lovell, everybody.
She has a permissions post for a small opt-in magical ability and also entirely opt-in fourth-walling.
Unfortunately this means Peridot has to go home, which is very sad. :c But it was time.

Hello all! It's Seal here bringing in an OC of mine. Devin is a vampire and a grumpy butt, and has lived a very hard life because I'm mean to him, so I'm hoping that being in Keeliai will be another chance for him to make friends and - gasp! - have a life, for once.
Since he's got some abilities that could be problematic, please check out his permissions post.
Devin is not shy about being a vampire, so he's not going to be hiding thatand it's probably going to get him into trouble with certain people, but he does have a good many secrets and seems eternally bent on seeing the darker side of things. He's also a bit of a jerk, but he's squishy on the inside, I promise.

Guess who's baaaaack
Well, you guys are getting a snowbutt back on the turtle! I'm bringing one of my first ever characters in Tushan back, Jack Frost from the Rise of the Guardians movie. He was here starting in 2012 and lasting three years, and he'll be coming back with all of his memories.
For those who are canonblind, Jack is the literal Spirit of Winter, which means he has cool snowy magic powers and the quirk of it being seen unless he's believed in, which is one of the main themes in the movie. Thankfully because of his previous time in game, he's chilled out (har) a lot when it comes to people who can't initially see him, but it's plenty fun to play out.
In that vein, please take a sec to fill out his PERMISSIONS POST for whether yur characters will be able to see/hear/interact with Jack. (If you'd previously filled it out, please do so again! I reworded some stuff and removed all the previous comments.)

Also known as Kurogane from Tsubasa Chronicle to go along with that pretty man down below. The series started off pretty nice - four people brought together, traveling worlds on a quest that then turned into "What the f**** is even happening anymore? In contrast to the cheery individual, Kurogane tends to be serious and often times grumpy with very little in the way of a sense of humor along with a short fuse. Granted he's actually mellowed out more than he once was thanks to THINGS that happened and bonds that were formed over all the crazy.
Anyway, his left arm is entirely mechanical but covered with synthetic skin so nothing looks out of place. He is a ninja and a warrior who enjoys a good fight but is cursed to weaken every time he kills someone so that's a thing. So please start something because he will love it.
This is his life now.
But feel free to poke the papa bear in an attempt to rile him up. He'll be staying at the Midnight Hotel along with Fai and will be getting a job at some point - probably trying for the Police Force because he is a warrior. Though he may take up some odd jobs of fixing stuff around the city on occasion.

Hello! I'm Am (believe me every single pun possible has already been done) and I'm returning to Tushan after a leave of absence! For those of you who don't know me and/or don't remember me, I'm an eternal nerd living in Australia and thus an opposite timezone to everywhere else on the planet. I previously played that weird living skeleton detective guy (Skulduggery Pleasant, for anyone who's read the books, and if you haven't they're a lot of fun!).

Hello, my name is Xae and I'm fresh meat to this here game.
Today I bring you Doctor John Watson from the tv show Sherlock (BBC version). In this version of the show it's set in modern-ish times (about 2013) and John does come hom from Afghanistan where he served as an army doctor. He finds a flatmate and friend in a detective named Sherlock Holmes and they solve murder cases together. Such fun. No seriously, John enjoys the life. Sherlock solves the murders and John blogs about it. For anyone who is familiar with it, John has come from the end of series 2 which is when Sherlock has faked his own death.

I decided to come back since I think I finally got the hang of juggling working full-time and being a part-time student. I was considering bringing Mark back, but his voice is still very faint for me so I decided to bring the stronger voice back for a round two here.
So introductions again?
This is "Teddiursa" and I am brand new to the game. I will be bringing in this girl you see before you. Her name is Marie Kreutz and she is from the movie version of The Bourne Series. I will be playing her from early in Supremacy (second movie) but she has a a game history that makes her aware of a certain event in canon which wasn't so good for her - she also will come back with memories of her previous stay on the turtle.
She is someone who has more or less spent years wandering/traveling around Europe and has spent two years on the run because of a certain encounter and later arrangement with a rogue amnesiac assassin. - so she might be a bit guarded or distant at first - for a lot of good reasons, but she won't be entirely unhappy about meeting new people or exploring a new place.
She's looking forward to seeing her friends again, that much I can tell you.

This is Billy Costigan, from the film The Departed. He's a Bostonian cop who goes undercover with the mafia in Southie and then realizes it's way too stressful and tries desperately to get back to a normal life while also becoming one of Costello's most trusted guys. He's an anxious ball of nerves at all times while also playing it cool (because he's used to hanging out with the shadiest types) and suuuuuuper Bostonian. He's smart but doesn't like to show it and isn't very talkative (so I apologize in advance).
As a note, I'm technically bringing him back (he left in like 2014 or something). He'll be arriving with amnesia but may, over time, regain some or all of his old memories, depending on what happens and who he sees, etc.

Pretty much everything you need to know about him is here, in his stupid visuals page. To give you an indication of how serious it is, I put "Actual Cannibal Shia LaBoeuf" on it. That's basically been the past twelve hours of his life. (Please click the images to view in full-size. Some of them got shrunk down to fit the available space because Padlet.)

Heeello. My name's Leigh and this is my first character for the game. I've brought in Percy Jackson from Percy Jackson & The Olympians. This kid's the son of Sally Jackson, wonderful blessed human, and Poseidon, the god of the ocean. In other words, he's a demigod and one that packs a punch. Both verbally and literally. This kid will sass his way through any situation he can't fight his way through. Or maybe both. Probably both. He has all the good intention in the world though and has the genuine nature of your typical hero. The kid's so loyal and dedicated to being good that he actually sometimes even empathizes with the bad guy. He's friendly, even if snarky, and will be the local town helper outer. Or something.

Hiiii everyone! It's Teddiursa again and I'm bringing in one last character (and I think I might be nuts considering RL right now, but that's another matter for another time).
This is Mark Watney from "The Martian". He's an astronaut who is left for dead on Mars after a dust storm causes a antenna to impale him - knocking him a considerable distance away and causing the bio monitor in his suit to go offline and of course everyone is going to think he died - while he is evacuating the planet with the rest of his crew. So, basically he's left on his own in a habitat designed to last the mission's length (30 sols) and for the most part without any human contact (until later in the novel) and even then that's messages from a very long distance away.
I am playing him from the novel canon and not the movie's canon. I also am taking him from Sol 120-121 (shortly after the habitat airlock fails and launches him another noticeable distance away and causes the hab itself to be destroyed) and he has just fallen asleep within the rover he is taking refuge in. So, basically he's going to be sore and in a bit of pissy/concerned mood when he first awakes up here.
But he will be totally glad to see people. Some may get hugs. (Please tell me if your character is not comfortable with this and I can have Mark high five or shake hands instead, after nearly hugging...he's a bit too excited there. I'm going to do my best to keep his humor in check to be game appropriate but it still will fall under "gallows humor" at times.)

Hey there! I'm Bree, and I'll be playing The Rookie from a lil game called Halo 3: ODST. Basically, he's a space marine that's used to traveling around in spaceships and dropping from orbit to fight aliens. You know how these things go.
He's not exactly new to the dreamwidth scene, as the two previous games I've had him in were Exsilium and Paradisa (so hi to any of you that recognize this nerd), and he will be keeping memories of his stay in Paradisa only.
So expect a lot of confusion and mild irritation while he gets used to the fact that he's exchanged one strange world for another.

He's not exactly new to the dreamwidth scene, as the two previous games I've had him in were Exsilium and Paradisa (so hi to any of you that recognize this nerd), and he will be keeping memories of his stay in Paradisa only.
So expect a lot of confusion and mild irritation while he gets used to the fact that he's exchanged one strange world for another.

(I'm writing this before I go to bed, sorry everyone.)
This is "Teddiursa" and I am brand new to the game. I will be bringing in this girl you see before you. Her name is Marie Kreutz and she is from the movie version of The Bourne Series. I will be playing her from early in Supremacy (second movie) but she has a a game history that makes her aware of a certain event in canon which wasn't so good for her.
She is someone who has more or less spent years wandering/traveling around Europe and has spent two years on the run because of a certain encounter and later arrangement with a rogue amnesiac assassin. - so she might be a bit guarded or distant at first - for a lot of good reasons, but she won't be entirely unhappy about meeting new people or exploring a new place.
