In a nutshell, Zatanna things that Peter is very nice and caring and would have so much more going for him if he would knock off the pity party. Seriously. He's actually kind of cute, and he talks like a normal person and he's even smart. So, really, in her eyes, the only major turn-off is the whole constant self-depreciation routine.

He'll get over it eventually probably with her help, especially since all things considered, socially he's got it way easier here than he did back home. Well, he'll mostly get over it anyway, he's still got some big things he's secretly beating himself up over, so it'll never disappear entirely.
