BRUCE ON FAVRIELLE:

(preface by saying 'oho he wishes')

Bruce isn't often struck by people, but he definitely is by her. Her poise and charm and grace just kind of make him want to take notice of her in a way he doesn't generally notice women. IN THE VEINS OF AN OEDIPUS COMPLEX she kind of reminds him of his mother in terms of her calm elegance but let's face it Bruce would never buy her pearls.

He likes her in a way that isn't... urgent, like it's been with some of his paramours. The fact that she figured out his identity and was just sort of like 'oh 'k.' definitely made her the sort of woman that he just kind of wants to come home to. Not even necessarily in a romantic sense (although that potential is there as well) but just... right now, Favrielle is probably the number one choice of people he'd just come and talk to. Or sit with and not-talk to, which is probably what they'll do when they're both freaking out and traumatized, let's face it.

Basically: he adores and respects her and wants to make sure she's safe and looked after. And if she wanted to seduce him he definitely wouldn't say no, but he'd also be pretty chill if she wanted to get involved with someone else altho he might batstalk them for protectiveness reasons.

Of course there's the other facet of his life, the 'NO I'M POISON DON'T TOUCH ME' complex that he has demonstrably through his various comic affairs, and that definitely factors into this. Given that he was at a fairly reasonable spot in his life on his return from the dead (his last girlfriend was Jezebel Jet and she was basically a plant designed to fuck him over) he's in a weirdly okay headspace. Even with the Robins coming and going and dying all over the place that he's dealt with. This is the longest stretch of significant nonviolence (zombies don't count when you're Batman) he's ever had in his life and he's just sort of like 'oh. ... not sure how feel.' but he's still worried about the effect the cowl can/will have on Favrielle just by her proximity to him.

But then there's that thing where she's an extremely calming influence and he doesn't know what to do with his feelings so he goes and punches the bag in his room until he doesn't have them any more.



Also: he would carry her over puddles if neessary. Just. Have fun with that mental image.
