A TEAL DEER APPROACHES. YOU CAN (PET IT) OR (STAB IT) OR (RUN AWAY). CHOOSE WISELY.

How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

this is likely to be one big litany of "I JUST NEED MORE CR OBVI" but w/e!

ANYWAY HM. YES. Arthur likes a lot of things about Ariadne - her talent, obviously. Her tenaciousness, her willingness to learn. He also finds some things about her frustrating, especially since their arrival on he turtle. He's a little bit protective over her, so her willingness to jump into risky situations puts him on edge sometimes, and also when her curiosity is directed at his and Cobb's relationship? That's a bit of a sore spot, and it really rubs him the wrong way when she won't take his word for it and let it go.
ALL IN ALL though, he likes her and probably trusts her the most of anyone on the turtle right now (SORRY COBB).

Ahaha oh man. This is really interesting because of the context Shepard comes from - where there is definitely a lot of tension between different species pretty much all the time, but simultaneously many of them also maintain officially "friendly" diplomatic relationships.
Plus there's the fact that she's kinda got a non-human boyfriend back home.
SO WHAT I'M BASICALLY SAYING IS coming from that context? She has no doubt that this guy probably has reason to be suspicious of humans, but she's also seen firsthand how longstanding prejudice (as well as snap judgments based on fear of superficial difference) just causes more conflict and bloodshed and, frankly, war. So she has little patience for anyone on either extreme.

Iorveth is coming from a world where all nonhumans are pretty brutally persecuted and Dean was punching him in all the rage buttons, so :'D GRANTED, he's pretty much an extremist regardless, so Shepard's judgement isn't really off :'| Either way, I'm really enjoying the thread :D

He still wants to poke and prod him for more info, though. Reid was very helpful in coalescing some of his own ideas about this place, lol.
SHEPARD oh man, Bruce confuses her a little. He's smarter than he looks, but why he chooses to hide it, she's not sure - she's not the kind of person to hide stuff about herself, and for the most part, she'd rather people just be straight with her. Dealing with so many politicians has soured her a bit on the doublespeak thing, but Bruce was actually very helpful during the zombie attack, and very willing to put himself at risk to help civilians, and she super appreciates that.
Keep in mind, one of her closest friends back home once spent several months as a vigilante crime fighter on the biggest cesspool space station in the galaxy. Why? Because no one else was doing it, and he figured the people being exploited and hurt there needed an advocate, someone fighting for them.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, Shepard likes anyone willing to do some good for its own sake.

Arthur knows about him thanks to Ariadne but yeeeeaaaaaaah. He's definitely curious to see for himself.

Yeah, I heard about that. It's a fun thing and I hope you don't mind the pseudo-forced CR (because facetwin). I really like Arthur as a character though and we don't have much CR as is, so I appreciate any excuse to try to tag with you.

Basically she takes him at his word that he means well but assumes he'll experience something like what she did with Cerberus, but possibly worse because they know even less about the Emperor than she did about Cerberus.

GET OUT
I mean uhhhhh so yeah this is complicated, dude. Cobb is one of his oldest friends, but maybe not the closest anymore? And he feels bad about that but at the same time, the guy is obviously really damaged and needs to get out of the business.
And then he showed up here on this freaking turtle, and god help him, if Mal shows up Cobb you are getting your face punched in. :|
In a loving way, though. In a "for your own good" way. BROS.
