The biggest impression Zatanna's had about Vic to date is honestly the fact that his taste in friends is...well, not questionable, but she honestly wonders how a guy like Vic can be friends with someone who tends to rag on and overpower him on such a fairly regular base. She's barely seen him around without Santo since their first conversation, which says a lot. Vic was sweet and very pleasant to talk to. He had strong opinions of his own, seemed to come from a harder life than her but still knew what it was like to grow up with powers. Different powers, but still enough of a similarity that there was that small semblance of common ground between them. And she sort of feels bad for him because all of that's overshadowed by everything else she's witnessed.


Not that she doesn't like Santo on her own. It's not that. It's just the way the two boys are together that often makes her roll her eyes, and on some occasions, even wince.
