The Stalk is stalking a snake - one particular one. Yuxnu has apparently been having some information flow problems, and a short list of suspects, and the need for an outsider to keep tabs on them.
She's an old hat at this game, and despite her particularly notable apperance, she's pretty sure she hasn't been spotted. She sees the Kedan enter a restaurant - the multi-service kind - and veers across the street to a small cafe. She orders something absentmindedly from the menu and then goes to sit down with the nearest person with an empty seat.
"You don't mind, do you?"

Wow, this crystal shit was hardcore, and apparently, the one she'd taken was 'sadness', although the label was pretty fucking insignificant for what The Stalk was feeling right now. Her chest ached as sob after sob wracked her torso, and there was little she could do besides grasp at things around her, upending tables and chairs in her lamentable helplessness.
She was causing a scene on the street, but honestly, she didn't care. Nothing mattered. Everything was broken and horrible. She was alone, in some foreign backwards rural town without her ship, even worse off then she'd been on Demimonde. No money, no prospects, no The Will (although she'd never tell him to his face that she missed him).
