There's something about him that pulls her in, that makes her want to train with him. She trusts him without knowing him, something telling her that she can trust him. As afraid as she was of Kylo Ren's offer, Obi-Wan Kenobi's offer to work with her is something good and trustworthy. There's nothing to be afraid of here.
