She arches an eyebrow at being called young one. He doesn't look very old at all but is aware that appearances are often deceiving.

"I'm Rey," she tells him, smiling.

"And you," her smile grows, "Are a Jedi."

It's not that long ago she thought they were just myths. But after leaving Jakku and meeting Han Solo, her eyes had been opened. Now she knows that the Force and the Jedi that use it aren't a myth or legends but actually exist. It's incredibly exciting and her mixture of excitement and apprehension about the matter shows her youth and inexperience.
