They'll be very insistent that they're investigating specific information that this house is harbouring deserters, and that by refusing them in to search, the kedan are confirming their guilt (if they have nothing to hide, why not prove it?). The soldiers will be a bit unnerved by the Foreigners' show, but they're evidently more wary of the Justicar, who's ordered the search herself. They will ask if a Foreigner would like to accompany them inside, but they're not backing down from the search. They won't make the first strike, but they will defend if they're tried to be forcibly moved off. The blades are their primary mode of defence and they handle them well, and the firearms are a last resort (a mod will npc at that point if needed).
