Stephanie, even as she wanders around the streets and sneaking peeks into stores and the occasional market, still has no idea where she is. Or how she got here, really, though she has a distinct feeling it had to do with Skullduggery Pleasant.

Not that she's sure he would know what to do with a giant turtle, or even what one could do with one for that matter, but she hast known him for very long, to be fair. It could be like the septre, something people just thought wasn't real and therefore dismissed entirely, after all. Though that line of thinking wasn't going to do her much good here; she had to think like Valkyrie Cain, not normal ordinary Stephanie Edgely. That said, she found that Valkyrie Cain had about as much idea about turtles as her normal life as Stephanie did, which was to say not very much.

It takes awhile for her to catch onto the feeling that someone is following her, but the moment she does she quickly casts a glance over her shoulder.
