The attack comes in Sky Sector, well before the Midnight Hotel’s entrance, while Aqua and Tadashi are walking to work together. There’s three of them, two men and one woman, and the first either Aqua or Tadashi will know about it is one of the men colliding with the both of them while the other goes for their soul-gems. It’s as if they’ve both been cast with a Haste spell, but their eyes are oddly blank. If Aqua defends herself or Tadashi with magic, the equally blank-faced woman will step in to take the effects of her spells. Any time anything magic touches her, she glows slightly and the magic simply ends, whether area-of-effect or elemental. With each magical strike, however, the woman gets paler; if Aqua continues to use magic, the woman will fall down dead from widespread organ shut-down. The men will seem unaffected by this eventuality, if it occurs; either way Aqua and Tadashi will continue to be harassed until the culprits fall down dead with the same symptoms as above, or until Aqua and Tadashi reach the Midnight Hotel. If the latter, the men’s bodies will be found a block from the Sky Sector entrance.
