The first thing that Howard noticed was that this bar was not like any other bar he'd been in. They didn't seem to want him there, till he offered to pay very well. Even still, he didn't try to charm anyone, preferring to just drink his sake and observe. Just the fact that they had sake made him wonder where he was. And the snacks weren't bad.

His head tilted to the side and he turns around, raising an eyebrow at the young man in front of him. "Dad? I think you got the wrong guy, kid. I..." His voice trailed off and he looked at him. He couldn't explain it, but the kid looked like he did when he was younger. Not a twin, but there were likenesses that he recognized, remembered from growing up with his dad. Not that there were many pictures, but they had one or two.

It was more than that, too. Waking up somewhere strange. Not being sure where he is. Now, there's a kid calling him dad? "What's your name?"
