The attack happens in the Fire Sector, in the early evening. There have been reports of increased unrest in this area the last few days, outbreaks of fighting that is initially attributed toward the high tensions stemming from the captured Chihuelans, but it doesn't exactly fit. Yuri will be accosted by three hooded figures, who will use an airborne form of Dust to hit him with, hoping to disorient him. If the attack is interrupted, two of them will flee, and the third can be apprehended. Otherwise, they will use the disorientation to commit the robbery, taking all the valuables, though they will be seemingly perplexed by his bodhi blastia, and flee toward the Wood Sector. Traces of Dust can be recovered from Yuri's person and analyzed, revealing it to be more of the super-concentrated, "new and improved" version that's been going around.

If taken, the soul jewelry will be recovered the next day, seemingly undamaged. However, it will at random intervals turn very dark in colour (almost black) for a few minutes at a time, during which Yuri will experience severe feelings of vertigo that disappear when the gem returns to its normal colouring.
