I'm going to keep tagging that thread, but you can continue under the assumption that Heojin accepted Wan's help--though the exact fields Wan tends will be regulated and if he tries to branch off on his own without clearing it with his Woodsmen supervisors first it won't go down well.
During the freeze, he'll be directed toward the crops unprotected by greenhouses; during the thaw, he'd be directed to protecting the greenhouses from flooding, both presently and in the future. You can also assume that the Woodsmen will blueprint the fields to either direct the water into canals or into fields which have been re-purposed for crops that do well with an abundance of water, such as rice paddies.
