Sarah might be just a kid, and she might not be spiritual at all, BUT she's determined to be of use in this war and this seems like the kind of thing she could do. So she's gonna be giving it her all and be determined to make it work.

She's dead in canon, and that's always at the back of her mind. At the same time though, it'll prob make her a little less freaked out by the whole death plane thing. She'll be creeped out, but not about to lose on this challenge.
