1) Raine's magic would be able to cure the spore poison, yes. But she'd have to do the healing one individuals and not like... a roomful at a time.

2) That would be fine! Just bear in mind that the purified water won't gain any immunity to the spores so it could be re-tainted if it's exposed to the spores again.
