Iroh's current moral compass is pretty benevolent, with the worst thing he's done being things like 'encourage kids to run away from scary belligerent people, even after committing property damage' and 'break out of political prison (after warning a kind guard to stay home)'.

On the other hand, his past involves him being a general of a conquering nation, with the attendant razing of towns and general causing of suffering to others, something Iroh will admit was Bad Things Done By Him.

So there's the possibility that Iroh will have to put up with mischief, depending on how the Ynradn weigh his current self with his past actions. Thankfully, Iroh seems to be a patient man.
