break out the teal deers!

THE CR TL;DR MEME

HOW IT WORKS:

1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

Any on Tony. Give me your thoughts.

CASSIE GIVES HIM HER THOUGHTS. It's kinda a lot easier now than when she had to skip school in order to wait for an appointment to see him, before she joined the YA. Or breaking into the Mansion. >.> she likes that. She used to like it when he could just drop in on their house, unannounced, or she could bump into him in the hallways of the Mansion on her one weekend a month. Because she can fight him, and she can disagree with him, and she can act against his advice, but he's family, and she loves him. And does respect him.

She'll be heartbroken when she realizes he's drinking again. But she doesn't do giving up, so.

Damian on Tony: careful respect for his engineering abilities. Maybe. He's far less certain about his judgment or about his superheroing or about his choices, but then, it's Damian. He judges everybody. At least he hasn't dismissed him, so, there is that. (He does like him better than MCU Tony.) (At least until he finds out he's destroyed some of Kyle's stuff.)

Bucky on Tony: he knows he's not his Steve's teammate, but he can see them working together. And that's a big plus in Bucky's book. Besides, he probably got along with Howard pretty damn well, whenever they were around each other and with time to waste - and, as we have seen, he can see Tony as Howard's son just fine. And not necessarily only in the bad ways. So that's linking him to two friends.

In all, between all the bumps, Bucky's taken on a slightly more passive role than he should/usually would. Compounded by the fact that, now that they've gotten a good look at what Malicant can do, he pretty much doesn't think he can do much against it, and that's crushing. So he's mostly keeping an eye on things, and trying to help with manual stuff so he can free up the people who can think better so they can come up with solutions. (And he basically considers himself cannon fodder, but, hey, he started out knowing/believing he was dead, so how's that any worse?)

That obviously affects how he acts in relation to Tony. If he's needed, he'll come; he'll try not to get in his feet too much, however.

:< Cassie! He'll feel bad that he's disappointing her just like he does everyone, but at the same time he's strongly questioning his own purpose and how much that matters. If she's upset, though, that will probably help kick him into shape. He will regret the slip deeply, and regret it more for everyone else. Now that she's around and they can hang out again, it might help to keep him going in the right direction instead of flailing.

Damian. Tony thinks of Damian amusingly as the disembodied voice in his head. He has a lot to say (or type), but he doesn't come out face to face, which on one hand makes Tony inclined to dismiss him because his view is that's too distant to really understand people, and on the other hand makes him curious to find out who is on the other side of the console. He thinks Damian has good ideas, but the industrialist in him says that those ideas aren't worth as much unless they can be applied, and that they can't be applied unless he gets in directly and does things hands-on. He's been busy with other people, but the potential for poking (and maybe provoking) Damian with this is still there. He's looking for the right timing.

BUCKY NO. Bucky is Steve's friend and therefore clearly able to hold his own against evils and magic and the like! Tony assumes pretty much that Bucky's distancing himself was largely in response to losing Steve, which he can totally understand. But after the grieving period, he's probably going to expect Bucky to get back on the proverbial horse. He can't imagine him not being an Avenger, so regardless of their situation that is what he's treating him as. He would probably give him a stern talking to if he found out that Bucky only thought of himself as cannon fodder.
