PFFFFFT. For all that Damian is smart and trained and has had a way longer life than a kid his age should ever have, somewhere inside he still is a kid, and Scott is really good with those. Mostly, though, Scott isn't stupid, and that's something in Damian's book. :P

Oh my gods. *chinhands* I love wordvomiting, man.

Now, first of all? There is no way in the multiverse that Cassie will ever stop looking up to Scott. He's her daddy, he makes the sun rise in the morning, and she didn't get HOW things could just go on, after he was taken from her.

To Cassie, Scott was, and is, the best. She knows he's done bad/wrong things, but she knows he's paid for them, and has atoned for them, and is a good person, and anybody who ever tries to say otherwise will get a very angry blonde in their face, whether it's her mom or stepdad, or O'Grady, or the entire WORLD, if need be. And, well. Resenting her life is not exactly a thing. She was scared for a while (after she was taken over, back in Heroes for Hire), but it's... not knowing the things she knows, not having a chance to help, is far worse to her.

Sob, they will eventually talk about the 'can't last forever' bit, probably. She knows, but - well, whatever time she has, he's there, and some of her friends, and that's better than not having that time at all. WAY better.

But ahahah yeah, she's clingy, too. I'm pretty sure they have a couple few hours a day where she lets him do his work and gets to meet people, but for now she's strictly on a no-dangers-allowed regimen.
