/rolls up sleeves

Okay so! I'm just gonna go ahead and say that Bryn was one of the first people Scott really felt comfortable with on the turtle. She didn't judge him for doing his shrinking thing and talking to bugs, gave him a pseudo-job during his earlier days on the turtle in the form of helping get the bar started, and was in general just awesome and friendly and open. Admttedly it's not super hard for Scott to like a person but it really does help when said person is not a douchecanoe. (See Exhibit B: Colby.)

Past that though, Scott has a lot of respect for Bryn. She's managed to start up her own business and make it a successful one at that, which is far from an easy thing to do. (He should know, he tried.) And she doesn't complain about it, at least not within earshot, and keeps trucking on even when she's tired or when life gets her down. He goes to the bar as often as he does partly because he genuinely likes the place but also partly because he likes being around Bryn. She's like a nice little ray of sunshine and seeing her makes him smile.

And then there's the fact that she's funny and smart and pretty (just because he's not a teenager doesn't mean he doesn't notice that) and not sixteen like half of the other females on the turtle and if he was still in the whole dating scene he'd definitely be scoping her out more. But alas his past two relationships kind of went to shit and he is still in the wallowing self-pity stage of his life so he'll probably never make any sort of move. But that's okay because he really values their friendship and would be eternally saddened if she ever left the turtle.

tl;dr Scott really likes you Bryn, pls don't leave. :c
